1950 transferred to Shanghai railway bureau central hospital as director of Chinese medicine.
1990 became the first batch of tutors in China who inherited the academic experience of old Chinese medicine.
1992, initiated the establishment of a Chinese medicine research center registered in Hong Kong.
1999, Yan Dexin Chinese Medicine Talent Award Fund was established and later expanded to Shanghai Yan Dexin Chinese Medicine Foundation.
In 2000, he launched the master inheritance class of traditional Chinese medicine.
In 2009, he was awarded the title of "Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine" by the Ministry of Health.
