Why is there a snake sign on the ambulance?
The symbol of the "snake" on the ambulance is actually "snake around the middle vein (spine)"-a medical symbol and emblem called "snake emblem", that is, the emblem of the snake.

The emblem of the snake has a long history and a specific meaning. The great Greek poet Homer praised Ascleber as a great and perfect doctor in his epic. Legend has it that he was the son of Apollo who was regarded as the god of medicine in 400 BC. Ascui Rabo is a solemn, gentle and kind doctor. He traveled around the world with a wand wrapped around the snake, curing diseases and saving lives. Because of his superb medical skills and kindness, he is particularly popular.

Later generations, out of reverence for the spirit snake and the imperial doctor, and in memory of Ascleber, took "the spirit snake winds around the middle vein (spine)" as a medical symbol, which is the origin of the spirit snake emblem, which means treating diseases and saving lives.

First, the common snake emblem patterns are single snake stick and double snake stick.

Single snake stick: Traditionally, single snake stick is a symbol of authentic medicine and a symbol of the World Health Organization (WHO).

Double Snake Staff: In ancient Greek mythology, the double snake staff was the symbol of Hermes/macri, the messenger of God. According to legend, when macri threw his walking stick between two biting snakes, the two snakes got together again.

Secondly, another origin of the snake stick is based on section 9 of Bible 2 1 Volume: It is said that Moses cast a snake shape in bronze and put it on a post. If someone is bitten by a poisonous snake, just look at the bronze snake under the pillar and he will recover immediately.
