One Lake: Maple Leaf Lake in the center of the lake.
The second axis is the "Green Manifesto" landscape axis and the "Landscape Central Plains" landscape axis. The two axes meet at Hufeng Lake, forming the visual center of the whole park.
The Third Ring Road consists of three landscape rings, and the inner landscape ring reflects the "green wave" beauty of lakes and mountains. The middle landscape ring is mainly composed of various exhibition gardens, which is a collection of the essence of "Green Expo". The external landscape ring is the background forest belt, which is the green background of the whole park.
Eight areas: the whole park is divided into eight areas: entrance area, Hu Feng area, exhibition area, wet area, background forest area, green life experience area, leisure and entertainment area and seedling and flower trading area.
Sixteen scenic spots: eight scenic spots outside and eight scenic spots around the lake. The outer eight scenic spots refer to eight scenic spots outside the inner ring, including Yixiuting, Peach Blossom Garden, Colorful Land, Orchard Huaxi, Forest Theater, Science Park, North Entrance and East Entrance. The eight scenic spots around the lake include Hufeng Peninsula, Sunny Beach, Ecological Floating Island, Observation Deck, Performing Arts Center, East Pier, West Pier and South Pier. The central lake has the characteristics of water system surrounded by flowing water, rippling blue waves, blending water and green, and connecting slopes and islands. On the basis of modifying the layout, strengthen the structure, clarify the functions, implement the scenic spots and enhance the landscape. The Greening Expo has formed a layout of "one lake, two axes, three rings, eight districts and sixteen views", which makes the functional division of the park clear, the spatial structure clear and the landscape features distinctive. The 94 exquisite garden landscapes exhibited in various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities with separate plans, national greening model cities, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and international friendship cities have made the Greening Expo an educational base to publicize ecological civilization, advocate green life and popularize the knowledge of land greening, a theme ecological park for ordinary people to return to nature and enjoy the fruits of ecological construction, and a link to further enhance the traditional friendly cooperation and friendship between the people of the whole country and relevant countries.
Green Expo, Zhengzhou covers an area of 2939 mu, equivalent to the total area of Bishagang Park, People's Park and Zijingshan Park in Zhengzhou. Construction started on August 26th, 2009, with a total investment of 654.38+0.4 billion yuan. In addition to the permanent exhibition gardens built by 86 international friendship cities in domestic provinces and cities and related industries, the park also includes sightseeing towers, science and technology museums, the largest music fountain in Henan Province, and the largest music fountain in Henan Province. More than 700 varieties and 635,000 plants of various kinds of green seedlings were planted, and the water surface area of Maple Lake excavated in the park reached more than 260 mu.
