"Five grains" correspond to "five internal organs", and "five internal organs contain innate qi". Otherwise, even if one essence of the five grains is missing, the balance of the two qi will be broken one after another, and the small one will get sick and the big one will die.

Rice (rice) enters the spleen meridian, stomach meridian and lung meridian, and has the functions of tonifying the middle energizer, strengthening the spleen and regulating the stomach, nourishing yin and moistening the lungs, removing annoyance and quenching thirst. Ancient health care doctors also advocated "morning porridge" to promote fluid production. Therefore, patients with cough and constipation caused by lung yin deficiency can cook porridge with rice in the morning and evening. Drinking rice porridge often helps to increase body fluid and relieve discomfort such as dry skin to some extent. If you add some pears when cooking porridge, the effect will be better.
