Moxibustion operation of Ma's warm moxibustion
(1) Preparation before moxibustion: Take out the inner tube of the warm moxibustion box, put it into the moxa stick mixed with moxibustion medicine, gently press the surface of the moxa stick with your fingers (do not press hard), then put the inner tube into the outer tube, light the central moxa stick with fire (no flame can be seen), and put it outdoors. 18-25 minutes later, the bottom of moxibustion box touched. It should be noted that if the precombustion is not enough, the moxa fire will be easily extinguished during moxibustion, and the moxa fire will not last long when the precombustion is used.

(2) Moxibustion: moxibustion box (bottom facing down) can be placed on the moxibustion site with several layers of cloth, so that the moxibustion user can feel comfortable and have sufficient heat without scalding the skin. If it is too hot, increase the number of layers of cloth. If it is still too hot after being separated by multiple layers of cloth, cover it with cloth, which can reduce the smoke and air entering and lower the temperature in moxibustion box. If it is not hot enough, reduce the cloth, or open the top cover for a while (but be careful not to let the pipe fall down).

(3) Precautions: Don't moxibustion immediately after meals, don't moxibustion on an empty stomach, and you can also moxibustion at other times. After moxibustion, we should avoid the wind and cold, and avoid the invasion of wind and cold pathogens by opening acupoints. Pay attention to dressing and keeping warm after moxibustion.

(4) Side effects: Warm moxibustion has few side effects, and only a few patients may have dizziness, dry mouth, dry throat, nosebleeds, anorexia, fatigue and other phenomena after moxibustion, so the amount of moxibustion should be reduced. If the patient has some abnormal reactions during the rescue, it may belong to improper rescue. If the reaction is strong, the doctor must identify it in time and handle it as appropriate.
