Growth process of Chinese cabbage
1. Germination stage: from seed germination to cotyledon unfolding, exposing true leaves.

2. Seedling stage: from true leaf exposure to leaf sequence formation.

3. Rosette stage: The plant presents 1-2 leaf sequence, which is the main stage of yield formation per plant.

4, bolting pregnancy stage: pumping flower buds, sending flower branches. Cauline leaves grow on the main flower stems and lateral branches, and buds form at the top.

5. Flowering and fruiting stage: Buds grow, blossom and bear fruit one after another.

Extended data:

Country of origin

Cabbage was originally distributed in North China and widely planted in China. Cabbage is cold-tolerant, likes cold climate and is suitable for growing in cold season. If cultivated in high temperature season, it is prone to pests and diseases, or the quality is poor and the yield is low, which is not suitable for summer cultivation.

Its low temperature resistance is very strong. After the temperature reaches -3℃, if the temperature can be gradually increased, the growth can also be resumed, but after reaching -8℃, if the temperature continues to drop to about-1 1℃, the normal growth cannot be resumed and it will suffer from freezing injury.

Chinese cabbage is suitable for planting in loam, sandy loam and black loess with rich organic matter, but not in sandy soil which is easy to leak water and feces, and even less in clay with poor drainage.
