1920: south hot spring is completed.

1927: Lu Zuofu, a famous patriotic industrialist, founded the Jialing River Hot Spring Park in Wenquan Temple, which is the earliest civilian park in China.

2005: Chongqing municipal government formally put forward the overall goal of building a "hot spring capital".

In 2007, Chongqing put forward the concept of five directions and ten springs. Hot springs in Chongqing urban area are divided into five parties according to the east, west, south, north and middle, and each party plans two key hot spring projects, namely, the top ten hot springs, which are referred to as five parties and ten springs for short. Now this project has been completed and opened.

In 2008, Chongqing began to plan and build 100 hot springs in the one-hour economic circle, creating a hundred hot springs.

2009: Chongqing began to build two wings and many springs again.

20 10: it was designated as the theme year of hot springs by the municipal government, and many large-scale activities such as ten thousand people soaking in five directions and ten springs were held. The hot spring tourism in Chongqing attracted worldwide attention.

20 1 1: Chongqing Municipal Government and FEMTEC held 201/Chongqing World Hot Spring Tourism Summit in Chongqing. At the meeting, the World Federation of Hot Springs and Climate Health and the Chongqing Municipal Government jointly signed the Declaration on Chongqing Becoming the World Hot Springs Capital.

20 12: Chongqing selected and awarded 50 hot spring tourism projects from the whole city. As the main force of key cultivation, Chongqing officially entered the world hot spring capital to create a countdown.
