What if I want to meditate?
Meditation and health preservation are related to the theory of qi. (Huangdi Neijing) The cloud says, "If you are lonely and empty, whose spirit will follow, whose spirit will stay inside, and who will always be free from illness?" It demonstrates the operating mechanism of four gases (gas station, gas dispersion, gas distribution and gas end) in the body. The ancients believed that the main function in the human body was qi, which can be divided into congenital and acquired. Congenital qi is also called primordial qi, and acquired qi refers to oxygen absorbed by the nose and mouth. Qi movement has its special laws and lines. Neijing? The meridian article says twelve meridians and fifteen roads, seven veins and eight meridians. Practice has proved that breathing during meditation can speed up the gas exchange in the body, eliminate nervous tension and relax muscles, thus alleviating some pain phenomena, which is more conducive to the stability of body temperature, blood pH, blood pressure, blood sugar, blood lipids and other compounds such as potassium, sodium and phosphorus in a range. This is why meditation keeps you healthy.

In addition to the essentials mentioned above, meditation should also pay attention to the following three aspects:

1 sitting posture

Head forward, eyes slightly closed, lips slightly closed, teeth not biting; The chest is not open, the back is slightly round, the hands are crossed on the thighs, the upper abdomen is sunken, and the buttocks are protruding; Knees are not uniform, feet are apart.

Pay attention to breathing

Breathe long and slow, breathe short and long, walk carelessly, seek nature, don't exert yourself, and pay attention to below the navel.

There should be no distractions in the brain.

It is better to meditate in the morning and before going to bed, but you must sit for 30 minutes at any time, whether at home or in the lounge.

Long-term meditation can enhance people's awareness, inner peace and problem-solving ability.

The purpose of meditation is to achieve spiritual concentration. In layman's terms, it is to let the mind rest all day. The correct way to cultivate concentration should be the most practical correction method, that is, starting with breathing, because breathing is divided into active and passive, and everyone has it, and it is the same.

Meditation has positive definite and evil definite. Positive definition means keeping concentration and awareness of one's own reality, while negative definition is like the state when aiming at shooting. The cultivation of positive definite is based on precepts. With the discipline as the guardian, it is possible to cultivate positive definite and wisdom can develop on the basis of positive definite. This is a gradual process.

Meditation is not a training method that ordinary people can like, especially young and impatient social people.

I think meditation is a kind of retreat, which can adjust the breath, dispel other thoughts and broaden the mind. People are emotional animals, and emotional adjustment is a lifelong lesson. If you can't understand the world, your mind will be entangled with other ideas, and you can't stretch yourself to react.

Some people may think meditation is boring and weird, but many scholars who like meditation, such as Qian Zhongshu, regard meditation as the happiest time of the day when they talk to themselves. The highest state of meditation is forgetting me, that is, forgetting time and space.

At the beginning of meditation, it mainly lies in one environment and three conditioning.

First, choose a quiet environment. If you meditate indoors, the indoor light is moderate, the air is unobstructed and the temperature is moderate. Choose a quiet place for outdoor meditation to avoid accidental scratches. What I'm talking about here is practicing primary meditation, so it's not the same thing as "living in a bustling city without horses and chariots" advocated by Zen, so the necessary environmental conditions are still needed. Let's go on to say three tones.

1 Body adjustment: Sit upright and natural. Restrain the lower forehead, tuck in the chest and abdomen, and the shoulders are perpendicular to the hips. It is best to sit on your legs. Don't be strong if you can't have two dishes. Avoiding leg pain is not conducive to sedentary. But it is easy to make the body lean back and lose its center of gravity, so when you are scattered, you should put a thinner pillow under your hips, which is beneficial to the balance of your body. Especially when you meditate in winter, you must wrap your knees with blankets and the like, because when your knees bend inward, the acupoints on the outside of the kneecap (touching the sunken parts with your hands) are open, which is easy to enter the cold and cause rheumatism. In addition, it is especially important to remind that double-plate meditators should stretch their legs forward after meditation and massage the soles of their feet with both hands to promote the escape of blood from the soles of their feet. After standing up, your legs rotate, with your side servant leg press or your lower back. Because double discs can easily lead to leg muscle atrophy, leg bones become O-shaped legs, and walking and floating are weak, massage and side leg press are very necessary for people who insist on sitting and meditation for a long time.

2 regulating qi: keep breathing thin, even and deep. Thin but not thick, can't hear the sound of breathing; Even but not turbulent, like a trickle, neither slow nor urgent. Deep but not floating, although the inhaled gas enters the lungs, you should think that it enters the lower abdomen (abdomen below navel).

3 Adjust the mentality: This is the key to meditation. Concentrate your thoughts in one place and don't throw them away. People who meditate can't meditate when they first start to learn. Just be quiet at most. But it is impossible for a spirit to make mistakes, so the way to control mistakes with mistakes is to adjust the mentality. There are many methods, such as chanting Buddha, speaking, visualizing, and calculating interest. Of course, these methods of persuading delusions are also delusions. The difference is that we control all our thoughts with one thought. In the end, we can't afford to be together. Meditation is the process and means of entering meditation, not meditation itself. Some people's eyelids jump during meditation, mainly because your eyes are closed or not. I suggest you either open your eyes and turn a blind eye to the present, or close your eyes and concentrate, so that you won't jump again. When you are in a state of "forgetting me" after meditation, you are prone to hallucinations, which is the accumulation of delusional consciousness. Don't cling to it, treat it with the "everything is illusory" in the Diamond Sutra. Some people are afraid of being possessed when they meditate. Hehe, to be honest, most people are not qualified to be possessed by you. At best, we have hallucinations that make you look trance. These are all pediatrics. Don't take them seriously.

In addition, people who sit still for about two hours every day will feel bitten by many ants in a few days. If you itch here and hurt there, just ignore it. This is a benign manifestation of active blood vessels in capillaries breaking through tiny lesions. This feeling will disappear in a few days. ?
