The Key Laboratory of Energy Conversion Materials of China Academy of Sciences is jointly established by China University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Silicate Research Institute of China Academy of Sciences.

Academician and Luo He, director of the Academic Committee of the Laboratory of Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, jointly unveiled the laboratory. After the unveiling ceremony, the academic committee of the laboratory held its first meeting.

Chen Chusheng, director of the laboratory, first reported the construction history, research direction, scientific research progress, research results and future work of the laboratory to the academic committee.

The Academic Committee discussed and clarified the work charter of the Academic Committee, and put forward valuable suggestions on the research direction and talent team construction of the laboratory.

In the afternoon, Professor Zhan Zhongliang from Shanghai Institute of Silicate and Professor Chen Chunhua from China University of Science and Technology gave academic reports on the direction of solid oxide fuel cells and lithium ion energy storage batteries respectively.
