Is sesame an alkaline food?
Sesame is an alkaline food.

Sesame is also called flax and fat hemp. Sesame is a precious "five-high food": high protein, high linoleic acid, high antioxidant, high calcium and high iron. Every 100g of white sesame contains protein 18.4g and black sesame 19. 1g, which exceeds all cereals.

The fatty acids of sesame oil are mainly oleic acid and linoleic acid, both of which are unsaturated fatty acids. Sesame also contains more vitamin E. Unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and sesamol are all strong antioxidants and good free radical scavengers. Antioxidants can effectively scavenge free radicals.

Sesame is rich in calcium and iron, far exceeding all kinds of vegetables, including those famous for their iron content.

Acidic food refers to foods with high content of nonmetallic elements such as chlorine, sulfur and phosphorus, while alkaline food refers to foods with high content of metallic elements such as calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium and zinc. The imbalance of food acid-base intake will make the blood pH value deviate from the normal range, which will easily lead to physiological acid-base imbalance, that is, acid-base imbalance.

Some foods will eventually produce acidic substances after catabolism in the body. Such food is called acidic food (or acidic food, or acidic food). Common acidic foods are pork, beef, chicken, duck, fish, cheese, cream, all kinds of livestock and poultry, all kinds of eggs and egg products, rice, flour, wine, sweets and so on.

Some foods will eventually produce alkaline substances after catabolism in the body. These foods are called alkaline foods (or alkaline foods or alkaline foods). Common alkaline foods are: vegetables, fruits, beans and their products, including almonds, coconuts, kelp, lemons, onions and tofu.
