Why is gout increasing? The doctor advised you not to eat these three foods, but you never listened.
Gout is a disease caused by metabolic disorder, and the increase of uric acid is an obvious sign of gout. In recent years, the living standard has been continuously improved, and even gout patients have followed more and more.

It is not only common in middle-aged and elderly people, but also common in people under 40 years old.

Purine that people consume every day will produce uric acid after metabolism. Under normal circumstances, the production of uric acid is directly proportional to the excretion;

However, if there is an error in any link of uric acid production and excretion, it will lead to an increase in uric acid in the body. When uric acid forms crystal deposits in joints and subcutaneous soft tissues, it will cause gout.

Symptoms 1, arthritis

Uric acid in the human body forms crystal deposits at the joints, causing joint inflammation, which usually lasts for several days or weeks.

Symptom 2: Bone injury

When gout is serious, it will develop into chronic gouty arthritis, often with dull pain, which will damage the joints, muscles and bones where uric acid crystals accumulate. At this time, you should pay attention to rest and relaxation.

Symptom 3, swelling and pain spread

Gout attacks can cause joint swelling and pain, which will gradually subside after a few days. With the development of the disease, the swelling and pain will spread to more parts, and dark red hard objects will be produced on the skin surface and spread to the tarsal joints.

Damage caused by Tuofei:

Uric acid salt is not easy to pass through the blood-brain barrier, so almost all tissues of the body are easy to deposit tophi except the central nervous system.

Injury 1, disability

When tophi is deposited in our cartilage for a long time, pannus will appear, which will destroy subchondral bone and develop into joint stiffness and deformity, which will directly affect the function of joints.

In severe cases, pathological fractures and disabilities will occur, which will make patients have to undergo artificial joint replacement or even amputation.

Hazard 2, cardiomyopathy

If tophi is deposited in the aorta, mitral valve and myocardium of the heart, it will cause serious myocardial injury, arrhythmia, cardiac insufficiency and other diseases.

Hazard 3, uremia

If tophi is deposited in the kidney, it will damage the renal function, leading to urinary calculi, renal arteriosclerosis, urinary tract infection and so on. And eventually lead to uremia.

Hazard 4, glaucoma

If tophi is deposited in the fundus, it will cause chronic inflammation of the eyes, causing serious consequences such as glaucoma and even blindness.

Gout patients should eat less of these three foods.

Food 1, beans

The staple food of gout patients should try to avoid beans containing purine, which will lead to an increase in uric acid. Try to eat some beans with low purine content, such as bean sprouts and peas, instead of soybeans, lentils and dried beans.

Especially during gout activities, we should reduce the intake of beans.

Food 2, animal offal

Whether in acute attack or chronic remission, gout patients should control the intake of animal viscera for a long time, control the level of uric acid in blood and reduce gout attacks.

Food 3, thick soup

Thick soup is one of the risk factors of gout attack.

The results showed that the purine content in each 100ml broth was as high as 160~400mg, which was 30 times higher than that in normal diet. So thick soup is a taboo for gout patients.

Countermeasures 1, diet conditioning

The first condition of diet conditioning is to reject high purine food.

Increase the proportion of fruits and vegetables with low purine content.

Cherry: contains anthocyanin and vitamin E, which can promote blood circulation, promote uric acid excretion and relieve discomfort caused by gout and arthritis.

Apple: contains vitamin C, which helps to reduce uric acid concentration and prevent joint swelling;

However, fruits and vegetables should be clean and fresh, and it is forbidden to eat fruits on an empty stomach to avoid physical discomfort.

Countermeasure two, drink tea

Drinking more water can dilute blood concentration, reduce the deposition of uric acid crystals and reduce the chance of gout attack.

You can also drink tea properly, but avoid taking medicine when drinking tea and drinking tea when gout attacks.

Drinking chrysanthemum tea is a good choice. Drinking chrysanthemum tea can supplement stevioside and flavonoids. Chrysanthemum glycosides and flavonoids can inhibit purine synthesis and promote uric acid excretion. The content of stevioside and flavone in Yuntai is higher than that of common chrysanthemum, and the effect can be more obvious.

It is reported that inulin and flavonoids inhibit purine synthesis, see reference 1/2.

Countermeasure 3, exercise conditioning

Exercise is an effective way to promote uric acid excretion.

Exercise is like doing a "clean-up" for the body, helping to discharge the waste in the body, promoting blood circulation, strengthening physical fitness and preventing diseases.

Gout patients had better choose low-intensity and long-lasting aerobic exercise, such as jogging, brisk walking, cycling and Tai Ji Chuan.

Exercise at least 4 times a week, preferably for more than 30 minutes each time, mainly with slight sweating, and don't be overtired.

Precautions:

Anaerobic exercise is prohibited, which will increase lactic acid production in the body and hinder uric acid excretion, which is unfavorable to the condition;

Exercise should be gradual, not too hasty, which will bring counter-effects;

When exercising, avoid bringing burden to joints and avoiding joint injury;

During gout attack, stop exercising and pay attention to rest.
