Some people say that Tai Chi in the world can be called mixed Tai Chi, which I think is not accurate. Although some martial arts (boxing) borrowed the term "mixed yuan Tai Chi", the real "mixed yuan Tai Chi" is the crystallization of decades of research and teaching practice, based on the teacher's martial arts. The trademark of mixed yuan Taiji was registered by the author's real name (Lou Xialai) and passed by the State Trademark Office. Now "Mixed-element Taiji" has its own set of systematic theories and methods.
What's the difference between Tai Ji Chuan and traditional Tai Ji Chuan? "Mixed Yuan Taiji" takes it as its responsibility to inherit and carry forward the traditional culture of China. It is based on the kung fu taught by many teachers, combined with my own practice and experience of practicing Zen and Wushu for many years, and draws lessons from the essence of various boxing methods, the essence of Wushu and the tactics of practicing. It was created through deep excavation and repeated practice.
Mixed Yuan Tai Chi is mainly about health preservation, which is divided into three levels: Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Kung and Tai Chi Dao. It was created on the basis of traditional Tai Ji Chuan, but it was different from traditional Tai Ji Chuan:
First of all, it's very simple: Tai Ji Chuan's first six routines have eight basic moves, that is, chaos and infinity, Tai Chi's birth, infinity's metaplasia, coming and going freely, opening the clouds to see the sun, lotus blooming, harmony between man and nature, and returning to infinity, which can be practiced anywhere three feet wide.
Secondly, the good practice effect directly comes from the mixed-element Tai Chi method: there are six methods of mixed-element Tai Chi, mainly practicing internal strength, starting with pulling tendons and bones, loosening tendons and dispersing bones, and refining bones into the marrow. It draws lessons from the excellent kung fu exercises of Neijia Boxing, namely "Jin Ming" exercises and Yi Gu Fa (refined but refined); "Dark strength" is a method of relaxing muscles (tempering back to God); "Listening to strength" and refining into bones (refining spirit is still empty); "Huajin" and the method of washing marrow (refining emptiness and combining Taoism) make practitioners deepen and improve step by step.
