The meditator enters: the magical function of meditation
First, meditation can strengthen the body, repair the sub-health state of the body and improve the function of internal organs.

Especially for chronic diseases and stubborn diseases, such as hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, lung disease, cerebral blood supply deficiency, migraine, heavy body, cold limbs, rheumatism, love sweating, night sweats, etc. , has obvious regulatory effect.

When you sit still, your mind is focused on one thing, and your breathing becomes soft and even. The total amount of air entering the lungs through breathing is relatively stable, and the amount of oxygen entering the heart is relatively stable, which is conducive to the regulation of blood pressure. When sitting quietly, the energy consumption of the body is reduced, and the oxygen consumption of the heart is much lower than usual, so the power of blood circulation is naturally strengthened than usual. Strong blood circulation can help us purify the blocked substances in blood vessels and restore the vitality of many dormant blood vessels.

This kind of blood circulation can help the viscera purify the accumulated "negative energy" and improve the self-healing function of the viscera; After passing under the skin, it can help skin and muscles purify "negative energy" and improve skin color and muscle curve. Therefore, even in a short meditation, people will feel relaxed and comfortable life energy rising from the depths of the body, just like being massaged inside the body by a pair of warm big hands.

Meditation can also enhance the strength of Xiadantian, which is the source of life energy. In the process of meditation, due to the purification of blood vessels and the harmony of body and mind qi, the meridians of the whole body can be dredged, and the "qi meridian" can be restored to normal operation, achieving the effect of consolidating essence and cultivating yuan, and the vitality is full of evil.

Secondly, meditation can improve the temperament of life and shape a healthy and beautiful posture.

Persisting in meditation can calm a person's inner temperament and make people present elegant, quiet and soft beauty between gestures. This temperament is the product of the comprehensive effect of physical, emotional and spiritual energy on life. The softer the inner spirit, the better the body is purified, the more stable the mood, and the better the external temperament. ?

In particular, it is pointed out that the double-disk sitting posture in meditation can quickly shape a beautiful posture. Double-disc meditation is called the most stable sitting posture, which can not only stabilize the turbulent wind in the body, but also quickly reduce the body fat and dredge the blocked meridians. People who practice double dishes can easily keep the graceful curves of waist, hips, thighs and calves, and control the energy balance of upper and lower bodies.

Thirdly, meditation can relieve stress, release anxiety, tension, irritability and uneasiness, and make the whole life feel calm, happy, comfortable and secure. ?

? Although we often ignore the body and talk about the spirit, we seldom think about it. In fact, all spiritual products, including thoughts, emotions, feelings and so on, have a physiological basis, that is, the nervous system of our body.

Vimo Zen believes that to completely solve mental problems, we must first start with the body. Because all the feelings of stress, anxiety, tension, irritability and uneasiness are first perceived by the nervous system of the body and then by people. The nervous system is distributed in every corner of the body. If a certain part of the body is diseased or blocked, the signals received by the nervous system will also change, and then the feelings that are not conducive to life and health will be transmitted to the brain, and then thoughts and behaviors that are not conducive to life and health will be produced.

Our unstable emotions and thoughts are not created out of thin air, but the result of "karma". Its causes include not only external people and things, but also internal factors of the body. The nervous system of the body is the physiological basis of emotions and thoughts. For example, when a person is angry, give him an anesthetic and paralyze his nervous system, and his anger will disappear immediately.

? Meditation is like massaging our nervous system, so that this "naughty child" will no longer affect our emotions and thoughts. In the process of meditation, the frontal lobe activity in the forebrain area will be enhanced, and brain cells will begin to secrete endorphins and serotonin, which are important elements to help the human nervous system relax and calm down. Many people can feel that their nervous mood is relieved and their agitated mood tends to calm down through ten minutes of meditation. Long-term meditation practice can help us cultivate stable spiritual strength.

Fourthly, meditation can open inner wisdom, guide people to reflect on themselves, realize the existence of life and realize liberation.

? It's not sitting around thinking about nothing, the operation of the brain is not shut down. Sit-in exercises usually begin with concentration. Although the occipital lobe activity of the brain will be weakened, the frontal lobe activity in the forebrain area will be enhanced. The frontal lobe is related to human intellectual activities, so people often have inspiration, new ideas and memories of forgotten things in meditation.

Long-term meditation will make the mind clear and sharp. Because the methods of meditation are different, the effects of enlightenment and introspection are also different. Some meditation methods start with "stopping" and train the mind to rest on one thing. This method can cultivate the "concentration" of life. Some meditation methods begin with "observation" to train the mind's awareness and keenness. This method can achieve "observation wisdom". There are also meditation methods that use "thinking", just like many meditation methods in the Yoga Sutra. Through meditation, people are connected with the sun, the sky, nature and space, and they feel the unity of people and the whole existing world. All these methods can lead people to introspect, open their wisdom and realize the relationship between their own lives and the existing world.

A clear understanding of the effect of meditation will help us to improve our confidence in meditation. As long as you keep sitting every day, these effects will naturally appear. Various meridian opening phenomena

There are two ways to get through the meridians: one is to guide the true qi to get through the meridians, but it is unrealistic for the practicing public to have a master to teach. The second is not to guide. In the meditation process of this article, the author chose the non-guided method. As long as the practitioner focuses on breathing wholeheartedly and reaches the state of "stopping" the flow of qi in the body, the practitioner should remember to ignore the movement of qi, let nature take its course and not guide it, otherwise it will affect the practice effect.

Tantric qi and pulse study is mainly based on three veins and seven rounds. The so-called three pulses refer to the left pulse, the middle pulse and the right pulse. However, the midrib is dominant, and the location of the midrib is from the seafloor to the Yin Hui point. That is, before the anus and after the testicles. All the way to the top of your head, that is, four fingers above the hairline. For women, it is from the bottom of the uterus to the top of the head and above the hairline. This vein is the middle vein. On the left side of the midvein, from the left testicle upward, next to the midvein to the top of the head, this vein is the left vein. On the right side of the midvein, from the right testicle upward, next to the midvein to the top of the head, this vein is the right vein. These three veins are collectively called three veins. ?

As for the names of the seven chakras, they are Brahma chakra, Top chakra, Eyebrow chakra, Throat chakra, Heart chakra, Umbilical chakra and Submarine chakra. In fact, they don't have seven roulette wheels, but only some codes, which are distributed in the four fingers above the hairline of the head, the crown wheel in the center of the head, the eyebrow wheel between the eyebrows above the nose, the throat wheel, the heart wheel of the mouth, the navel wheel and the perineum wheel. To sum up, it is called three pulses and seven rounds. The Taoist theory of health-preserving qi pulse is collectively called the odd meridian and eight pulse. First of all, it is derived from the Du meridian, which starts from the bottom of the coccygeal vertebra on the back of the human body, goes up along the spine and goes up through the back of the head, and is called Du meridian. Ren meridian starts at the bottom of the sea in human body and passes through navel, heart and throat, which is called Ren meridian. Ren meridian comes first, Du meridian comes last. These two veins have three levels, namely, the first three levels and the last three levels mentioned by Taoism. The first three passes of Renmai are: Xiadantian, Zhongshan Point and Twelve Heavenly Buildings. The last three passes of Du Meridian are: Lu Wei, Jiaji and Yuzhen. The above is called Ren Mai. Other cross-waist pulses include chong pulse, plus Yang Qiao pulse, Yin Qiao pulse, Yang Wei pulse and Yin Wei pulse. Collectively known as the odd meridians and eight veins.

Why do Taoists and Buddhists call human meridians different when the human body is the same? In this article, the author explains this point for the convenience of meditation practitioners and a comprehensive understanding of human qi and pulse. In fact, in Taoist books, argot and terminology are used to describe the changes of human meridians and qi veins. The meanings of argots and terms were kept secret in ancient times. For example, in Taoist books: "Left Qinglong, right white tiger". It is the left and right veins of Buddhism tantra. "Pre-Suzaku, post-Xuanwu" refers to the two meridians of the human body. "Big Sunday" refers to the circulation of the left and right veins. "The second pulse of the river car running as the governor" is Xiao Sunday. Buddhism and Taoism have different meridian names, but each has its own merits. However, from the standpoint of meridian science, all roads lead to the same goal. ? Practice meditation and dredge du meridian.

To achieve meditation, the heart can basically be tied to the breath, and other delusions have basically surrendered. At this time, the brain is very quiet and has reached a preliminary state. Then, practitioners will notice that there is a hot and expanding airflow from their perineum, starting from the perineum, going up along the back spine, passing through the top of the brain, going down along the forehead and reaching the nasal column. Practitioners should not panic, this is a symbol of airflow passing through the Du meridian. In addition, in the process of airflow passing through the Du meridian, the strength of the practitioner's body will also show different signs. Here, the author explains in detail the signs of the weak and the strong, so that practitioners can work hard in order without worries.

? (1) Signs of the infirm: This refers to the infirm or the elderly, and the root of the disease is hidden in the body without knowing it. When these practitioners practice the Qi-activating Du meridian, they will feel back swelling and pain, and even have back spasm and cold back. With the above situation, practitioners should first clearly know that this is not a question of meditation, but a reaction to prove that they are sick or have hidden diseases. Fortunately, without the test of meditation, they won't know in advance that they are sick. On the other hand, practitioners know that they have diseases, including lung diseases, stomach diseases, liver diseases, heart diseases and other internal diseases. This is the effect of self-treatment of diseases by practicing meditation. Regardless of whether the practitioner knows the severity of the disease in the body, as long as he has firm confidence and persists in meditation, he can cure himself, and soon the disease will disappear and get better gradually. Jiang Weiqiao, a famous qigong master in China, suffered from a very serious lung disease before practicing qigong. Later, he began to practice static kung fu. After a long illness, he gradually disappeared and became a famous qigong master in China. Therefore, it is said that "if you are sick, you will know the pain, and if you are healthy, you will be busy." ?

? (2) Signs of healthy people: Back pain or shoulder pain will occur at this stage, but the back is hot, like something moving, but it is difficult to move. This is what Taoism calls the "river car" running to Jiaji point, which is the process and phenomenon of airflow passing through the Du meridian. I hope practitioners can recognize it. This is also the phenomenon that Yang spirit reaches "Yang Huan Point". At this time, you must relax your mind, hold your breath, don't focus on your back, just focus on practicing safety and ignore other painful phenomena. Then this spirit will suddenly relax, get through Jiaji points, and enter the realm of cheerful and energetic beyond ordinary people.

When the practitioner's qi passes through Jiaji point, the qi will flow along the Du meridian to the point on the back of the head. According to China's traditional medical concept, "the head is the head of yang". Therefore, it has the greatest effect and is closely related to the brain meridian, diencephalon and pituitary gland. ?

? There are three main points in human head: jade pillow, forebrain and diencephalon. Firstly, the author analyzes and explains the acupoints in the order of qi pulse. When qi passes through the waist and back, it naturally rises to the back of the head. When this invisible qi moves to the jade pillow point, the practitioner will feel unconscious and groggy when sitting, as if asleep. Or look at things and scenic spots in a daze. At this stage, practitioners should keep good practice of meditation theory. Is to keep a knowledge: hold your breath and ignore these phenomena, that is, darkness is coming and dawn is breaking.

? When Qi reaches the back of the brain, it can be said that practitioners have made great progress in meditation, but at this stage, it is also a very complicated and troublesome stage. It is gratifying to know that the true qi flowing in the jade pillow can open the air vein between the central nervous system and the brain nervous system. Walk into a good time. The trouble is that when the earthquake point is opened, the forebrain and diencephalon will be connected, but not connected. At this stage, the practitioner's cranial nerves are affected by the true qi, and hallucinations or visions will appear. Sometimes he predicts that small things are effective, so he thinks that he has gained magical power. ?

? In fact, this is just the heart itself, and it does have an effective sensing function. These little awakenings are only the preliminary verification of meditation, and they don't really have special functions. At this time, they will not have an effect on major events, because their concentration is not enough. When a man of practice reaches this state, he must not be complacent. In the process of meditation, no matter what scenes and verifications appear, we must ignore them, otherwise we will be blinded by illusions and illusions in practice and fail. We must redouble our efforts to get over the diencephalon and be suddenly enlightened.

Qi moves to the forebrain when it passes through the earthquake point in the forebrain and the back of the brain. At this time, the phenomenon response is not as complicated as the back of the brain. Its reaction is that the temples on the left and right sides of the forehead are swollen, and the eyebrows and nasal roots are swollen or slightly stinging. However, at this stage, the original distractions have basically disappeared, and compared with the physical and psychological painful feelings that happened in the past, they are relatively reduced. As for hallucinations, there are still some at this stage, and things that have not happened can be known in advance. The yogi must realize that this is not a clairvoyance, but only a little benefit of practicing meditation. ?

Never be persistent. In fact, this is a temporary phenomenon caused by the friction between the power of the mind and brain waves. Another phenomenon is that when practicing, practitioners will smell sandalwood and other smells when meditating, which is the normal body odor of practitioners' internal organs. In other words, if they don't work hard enough, they won't smell it. This is the effect of meditation on practice. ?

? The air flows through the diencephalon and over the forebrain. Practitioners should relax the head feeling and continue to hold their breath, and this qi will naturally rotate between the brain and the cerebellum, which is called diencephalon. Then it rushes to the center of the head {Nihuan Palace}, which is called Brahma chakra in tantra. Secular practitioners think that this opens the Du Meridian, but it is not entirely true. This is the initial opening of the central nervous system. ?

? When qi passes through the diencephalon, there is a feeling of fullness on the top of the head, as if something is pressed on it, because the diencephalon is not opened. The yogi should not pay attention to these phenomena, let alone concentrate on his head, just keep breathing, relax and let nature take its course. Then, the practitioner will feel a cool feeling like water in the center of the head, which is extremely comfortable and refreshing. This cool and sweet body fluid drips, is caught by the tip of the tongue and swallowed. Among the seven sitting postures, it is very important to ask the tongue to touch the palate. At this time, the fragrance of Tianjin is sweet, the fragrance is fragrant, and the sweetness is not the sweetness of sugar, which can be said to be indescribable.

Taoism in China says: "Awakening, dew sprinkled with sumeru", "Jade liquid". It refers to this descending body fluid. Practitioners should pay attention that this descending body fluid is not saliva in the mouth at ordinary times. Taoism believes that this declining body fluid is the wine of rejuvenation. Although it is too mysterious, it can really eliminate diseases and prolong life. At this time, if you don't eat, feel hungry and unconvinced, you can avoid the valley. ?

In short, in the process of practicing meditation, qi reaches waist {tail point}, shoulder {Jiaji point}, top of head {neon palace}, brow {Tang Yin point}, back of head {Jade pillow point}, forebrain and diencephalon. By this time, it can be said that the Du meridian has been opened, and the road to practicing meditation has taken a big step. Don't be content with less, make persistent efforts, and wait for the gas to fail before opening the pulse.

? The understanding of ren mai includes five internal organs, whose center is in the middle uterus of human body, which is also called the middle uterus in medicine. The main organ is the stomach cavity, that is, the stomach. According to the concept of yin and yang gossip, it is the "earth house" of the five elements {golden wood fire, water and earth}. The so-called "four images and five elements are all original, and the nine palaces and eight diagrams are inseparable." Let's not talk about the basis of this theory for the time being, but the spleen and stomach are very important to the health and longevity of the human body. No matter how big or small the disease is, the first warning is that the appetite is not open and there is something wrong with it. This is what anyone has experienced. Getting through Ren meridian is after getting through Du meridian. When the pulse is opened, the middle pulse is also opened. ?

No matter Buddhism, Taoism or other sects, there is a saying that "one vein is connected with hundreds of veins". That is to say, as far as ren mai is concerned. Let the pulse pass, followed by the phenomenon of light security, that is, the prelude to being able to settle down. In order to "refine the gas and refine the spirit." The great energy of the human body will be revealed. Therefore, no matter what you practice, you should not be impatient. There are many people practicing Qimai Kung Fu. Everyone takes some fur to practice, but the whole repair system of true qi pulse has not been clarified, let alone develop their own potential, which will have problems in health. There is also a term in Taoism called "burning and repairing, refining teachers." This also shows that as a practitioner, if you want to achieve something, you must practice hard, otherwise it can only be "an armchair strategist." When qi passes through any pulse, that is, when the qi in the middle palace passes through, you will feel a kind of aesthetic feeling called enrichment. Mencius said: "The noble spirit is filled between heaven and earth". It is this stage and the real realm.

Buddhism tantra said: the person who opens the throat and turns to the heart chakra can have no delusion. It is also this stage. Qi-flowing through Ren meridian and its symbol Taoist health-preserving family, after qi-flowing through Du meridian, makes great efforts to make progress and achieve the sound of bubbles rolling and ringing in the stomach. After this sign, their appetite will be greatly increased. But don't be greedy for appetite and overeating. Secondly, with these phenomena in the stomach of the "middle palace", there may be belching and other phenomena at the same time. As for burping, it is a symbol of stomach qi ascending, which will ventilate the esophageal tube (layer 12). Practitioners should let it go and get rid of it. When the true qi of the twelfth floor is washed away, their minds will become fresh and their hearts will become comfortable.

In addition, body fluids flowing down from the top of the head to the salivary glands slide and fill the mouth. In Tibet and Inner Mongolia, disciples who practice tantric Buddhism will stay away from people who have the above hiccups, and they all think that they are people who have made considerable achievements in cultivating qi. Another phenomenon at this stage is frequent defecation, just like diarrhea, which lasts for about ten days.

Practitioners should know that if an ordinary person defecates frequently or even has diarrhea, it must be a disease such as stomach trouble or enteritis, which undoubtedly gives people a painful feeling. However, if you practice meditation, you will have a lot of diarrhea when qi passes through the meridians. It has no feeling of pain, but its internal organs have a particularly comfortable feeling. When you have diarrhea in the future, you will produce some black mucus, which will affect your gastrointestinal health for many years, and most people can't clean it up.

After the above phenomenon, the chest will be blocked, but you can't spit it out, and suddenly you cough up thick phlegm, and the color is cloudy and black. This is the phenomenon that air passes through the twelfth floor. At this point, when the stomach gas passes through the twelfth floor, the Adam's apple will contract inward, the tip of the tongue will naturally tilt up, and then the whole tongue will stick to the upper jaw to seal the larynx. In Taoism, this phenomenon is called magpie on the bridge and stool on the ladder. ?

? With the continuous efforts of the yogi, this gas will naturally enter Xiadantian (Qihai point). At this time, the "Zhongshan point" of the chest will suddenly become clear. You can even hear the sound of a broken heart. The "open mind" described by Buddhists is the phenomenon at this stage. ?

This gas that enters the lower abdomen is the gas that really returns to the abdomen! As we all know, the real qi returns to the abdomen, which is initiated by the qi in the human body. After the Du meridian is opened, the ren meridian is opened to return the qi to the abdomen. Otherwise, it is really suspected of "infatuation and madness." At this point, it can be said that the meditation of the yogi is quite deep, but it can't really be settled. They must keep calm before they can settle down. Relaxed fellow initiates achieved the above-mentioned qi-flowing reaction and made continuous efforts. In a short time, the qi of Xiadantian began to move downward to perineum and gonad, and then opened the Yangqiao pulse, Yinqiao pulse, Yangwei pulse and Yinwei pulse. Qi flows smoothly in the limbs. The author explains in detail here: Qi starts at the bottom of the sea (perineum) and descends along two great thigh vessels to the soles of feet. At this time, the feeling of numbness caused by sitting cross-legged is completely gone, and every nerve and cell of the body will feel warm, soft, light and happy. They don't rest, but like to sit cross-legged for a long time, coveting happiness and entering a faint peace. Under this setting, qi will follow the route of Du meridian, rush to the back and smooth the left and right shoulders, thus reaching the fingertips and palms of both hands. At this point, the practitioner feels soft and comfortable all over, as if he had no bones. Then, the feeling of ordinary physical existence disappeared and entered a fixed realm. As Laozi said, "It is impossible to be a baby if you are dedicated to the spirit." . This is the realm. ?

Scholars who practice Neidan have worked hard. Up to now, no matter the relationship between men and women, the strength of physical strength, the similarities and differences of talents, the changes of practice vary from person to person, but they will not leave the phenomenon described in each section of the article. Reaching this stage is not only the achievement of "practicing Qi" as Taoism says, but also the achievement of "settling down and living". It can be said that it is a very great achievement, because with this achievement, we can successfully realize the manifestation of our own functions. ?

Meditation and function embodiment: When the practitioner reaches the state of being settled, as long as he starts to practice, his body and mind will be clean and comfortable, and there will never be any delusion or physical discomfort. I don't even notice breathing at this time, and I don't need to keep breathing. When practicing meditation, it is the role of the yogi to eliminate the delusions and feelings in the body before meditation. For example, if a person wants to cross the river, he will take a boat to the other side of the river without carrying it on his back. Keep breathing and breathing, just use this boat to help. When the practitioner meditates, the external breathing is extremely weak, but the lower abdomen has internal breathing, that is, there is a phenomenon of lower abdomen stagnation. The brain is extremely quiet and full of vitality, and the yang in the body circulates around the body. No matter what diseases the body has suffered before, it disappears without a trace at this time, and all diseases are not contaminated. Even the elderly will be healthy and strong. As for prolonging life, it is not the highs. ?

? The yogi continues to live in meditation, and it won't be long before great energy in the body will appear. These energies are special functions. As the eye of heaven is wide open, the Oracle does not know. Wait a minute. The so-called eye of heaven is not another eye, but the naked eye itself, which has another function. A man with eyes is exactly the same as an ordinary person, but he can see many worlds, and nothing can block his sight. These seem to be myths to ordinary people, but they are not. When a person's life function is full, that is, when he is full of vigor and spirit, his physiology and psychology can transcend all physical obstacles. Although meditation can show special functions, practitioners must remember to abstain from morality, otherwise it will be too late to regret. In a word, manifestation is the radiation of one's own energy. The practitioner should keep his own energy and continue to study hard, so that he can be enlightened and liberated into Buddha in the future. This is the ultimate goal of practicing meditation.
