"Dharma" is the cultivation method of Xiandao, also known as Danfa.

Later generations divided internal and external elixirs into three different categories, namely Tianyuan Dan (later, some people renamed pure elixir Tianyuan Dan because it rarely succeeded), Yuan Di Dan and Renyuandan (Renyuandan is divided into pure and yin and yang, and now refers to yin and yang). The earliest Tianyuan Shen Dan and Yuan Di Lingdan both refer to external alchemy. Tianyuan Shen Dan, which was given by people, stood on Sendai, and even said that "chickens and dogs can stand on it" was rarely heard since Zhang Sanfeng in the Ming Dynasty. Yuan Di elixirs can be divided into two types: Huang Dan and Baidan, and elixirs that can be used to point gold and connect with Tianyuan elixir. Turning the stone into gold, Mr. Chen Yingning did experiments in the twentieth century, which proved that it did happen; The latter may be on the verge of extinction today. Ren Yuan elixir, that is, Inner Elixir, is a common practice method followed by practitioners today, and it can also be divided into static time and yin-yang time. Quiet time refers to the cultivation method of the northern school; The cultivation method of yin-yang kung fu multi-guidance school. Inner alchemy has derived many schools because of the different regions and methods of practitioners. If people are divided, there are Shaoyang School, Lv Zhong School, Sanfeng School and Yi Xi School. There are also geographical divisions, such as the northern faction, the southern faction, the eastern faction of Lu and the western faction of Li. There are different schools in the genre, such as Li Daochun's book Zhonghe Collection, which advocates the way of "keeping the middle" and is called the middle school by later generations; Min Xiaogen's northern and southern factions have their own paranoia, so they are called "the school of tranquility and yin and yang" (later generations followed Min's practice in Jin Gai Mountain, also known as "Jin Gai Mountain School"). Huang Yuanji, who inherited the teachings of Chen Tuan and Shao Kangjie, advocated a training method different from the two schools of North and South, and was called "non-South African North School". There are so many methods and schools, so there is a saying that "Taoism is 3,600, and each holds a seedling". All of the above refer to the orthodox Dan method. In addition, there are all kinds of tricks and fake methods of heretics, and they also accept apprentices under the brand of "Dan Zhenjiao", so there are also "3,600 kinds of tricks and 72 kinds of heretics".
There is an old saying: "There are no two ways in the world, and saints have no two hearts." The method of the Beggars' Sect is basically the same. Due to the difference of people's physique and endowment, the same method has different effects on different practitioners for thousands of years because of the differences of times, environment, customs, ethics, society, religion, family, beliefs, laws, gender, age, knowledge and interests. Because teachers teach students in accordance with their aptitude, the people they teach will have different teaching methods. The quality, wisdom and ambition of the receiver determine the quality and success of the method. When a method is formed, it will naturally have its followers, and dissidents will follow. There are followers and opponents, and naturally there are conciliators, thus forming different schools. For the original giver, there is no difference between Buddhism and dharma. As the cloud goes, "Learning immortals is the most important part of the elixir", and it is said that "all volumes of the immortal scriptures always have the same words, and then the elixir is just the root Sect, which was generated according to its position and planted in the sympathetic palace of cadres." As for heresy, this is not the case.
In short, no matter what method, it is based on seeing the effect. Mr. Chen Yingning's "Distinguishing Ten Immortals (Shurangama Sutra)" said, "The way to become immortal in this life depends on personal efforts. It is useless to hope and not implement it, or to implement it without effort. For example, we have a destination, which is hundreds of miles away and can be reached in one day by walking fast; Walk slowly, and you can get there on the 23rd or 45th. Cultivating immortals is not limited to success in life. I am afraid of the south. " "Reply to Nantong Yang Fengzijun" also said, "For example, there are four ways to get from Shanghai to Nanjing: the first is to walk on two feet; Second, by boat; Third, take the train; Fourth, fly. Although there are differences in the speed of time, the result can reach the destination. I'm afraid I'm going in the wrong direction. The boat arrived in Ningbo, the train arrived in Hangzhou, and the plane arrived in Beiping. Those who walked on two feet didn't know where to go and could never reach Nanjing. "
What I said above refers to the cultivation of immortality. The extension of the word "Fa" can be understood as various conditions and methods related to Xiandao. Such as the construction of Dan room, the choice of place, various modifications in practice and other broad "laws", not only refer to Dan law.

And "wealth" has two meanings: internal wealth and external wealth: external wealth refers to all the expenses needed for cultivating immortals, and internal wealth refers to the capital owned by practitioners themselves.
Generally, the funds needed to cultivate immortals have several functions: First, because people who cultivate immortals have officially entered the employment room, they can no longer spend too much energy on social affairs. First of all, they must arrange their families so that they can have food and clothing in their own cultivation career; When they are in formal practice, neither of them can engage in profit-making things, and all living expenses should be prepared in advance to avoid worrying about food and drink; Among the three, we should also prepare some money for traveling to visit Taoism, because living in a place for a long time will inevitably lead to boredom, so we need to change the environment to broaden our horizons and visit Taoist friends to verify our income; Fourth, you need to prepare the living expenses of three or five Taoist friends, so that you can concentrate on your studies and other affairs can be handled by Taoist friends.
As the old saying goes: "If you don't know, you are in trouble.": It is said that it is difficult to make money. "The above is just an ideal thing to cultivate immortality. It's hard to say whether it can be done as they wish. Therefore, Mr. Chen Yingning said, "A wealth manager should take increasing income as the first meaning and reducing expenditure as the second meaning. It is better to open source and reduce expenditure; It doesn't hurt to open source without throttling; Not open source can only reduce expenditure, although it can benefit, but it is quite insignificant; You can't open source, you can't cut expenditure, you can only wait for death. In this case, it is worth studying. "It can be seen that there is only a certain amount of funds, although there are many, but also the troubles of living in the open space; It's better to have a living source. Although it is small, it is not a worry. More attention should be paid to economy, careful use and try to avoid unnecessary waste. This refers to those who have foreign currency.
The money in it refers to the capital owned by the cultivator himself. First of all, cultivating immortals must have a healthy body. The primary task of the fairy family is to keep fit. Only when there is no pain in the body can we talk about the way to preserve health and prolong life. Therefore, good health is a necessary condition for cultivating immortals (group press: the teacher added Acupuncture of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Neijiaquan to the study of cultivating immortals, and Gai was also established for this purpose). Mr. Chen Yingning's "Distinguishing the Differences and Similarities between Male and Female Dancers: Instructions for Readers" said: "No matter men or women, if they are unable to have a mortal child, they will never have the hope of having an immortal child. There is no difference between being born and being immortal, only the difference between obedience and rebellion. Those who cut the red dragon are retrograde. If you don't have the vitality of nature in your body and mistakenly think that you can become immortal if your menstruation breaks, then women over 50 will naturally break their menstruation. Isn't everyone qualified to be immortal? Calling the elderly is another matter, but modern young women also require doctors to remove the uterus and ovaries through surgery, and menstruation will naturally break. Can it be called cutting off the red dragon? The news here can't be ignored! " Although Mr. Chen specializes in women's kung fu, although male and female kung fu are different, the reason is the same. They are all people who know the "vitality" mentioned here, that is, the necessary internal wealth for people who cultivate immortality. With this little vitality, although 80 can still return to Dan, 120 can still return to Dan; If there is no such life, you must use it to pay it back, or you will ask him for the next generation. Scholars should pay attention to it.
Some people think that wealth is the capital to buy a tripod, which is not the original meaning of "wealth". Cultivating immortality and learning Taoism is a heroic cause, and it cannot be achieved by foreign money. There are people who only pay attention to foreign investment and ignore domestic wealth, and the possibility of success is very small.

A "companion" is a like-minded Taoist friend that practitioners need when they formally hire workers. Now when people talk about the word "couple", they all think it refers to the tripod, which is not in line with the original meaning of "couple". Note: Like-minded men and women are enough.
There are several reasons why practitioners need like-minded Taoist friends. First, it is impossible for a yogi to do everything himself, and he needs one or two Taoist friends to take care of him. Both, various situations in the body, some situations encountered by regular hard-working practitioners in their practice work and the handling methods of some unknown situations need to be studied and discussed by three or five friends in addition to the practitioners themselves, so as not to delay things; Among the three, the twelfth poem of Sun Buer Women Workers' Inner Dan Side Wall says, "Everything has been finished, so we sit in a small niche", and Mr. Chen Yingning notes that "the usual way is to build a number of thatched huts in a quiet place in the forest in case fellow travelers stop. Then, make a small niche out of wood, and only one person can sit. The cushion should be soft and thick, and a door should be opened in front. The other three sides should be ventilated but not ventilated. It's best to cover it with bamboo curtains, such as those used in sedan chairs. People sit inside, regardless of the sun and the moon, until the sun god comes out of the shell, and then celebrate success. Only day and night must be guarded, beware of accidental danger. " This is also called "Three Comrades beware of danger". Dan often said that "three people must be United", "three people are United with one heart and one mind" and "three comrades protect each other", also known as Gai. The so-called like-mindedness, that is, Taoist friends must be of one mind and one mind, take protecting Tao as merit, do not have ulterior motives, and do not have evil thoughts, or they will harm others and themselves. In this world, many people call it Yin-Yang Merit because of the words of "threesome", "like-minded" and "bosom friend and dust love", which is limited to one family and not sufficient.
Others saw Shi Xinglin's words of Xue Daoguang, "If there is no huge outdoor facilities to protect this matter, it will easily lead to ruin. You can go straight to Yi Tong Dadu, with the help of powerful people", so you have the idea of looking for the protection of the rich man, so that as long as there is a rich man, you can succeed. This is not true. It should be noted that "powerful people" don't just refer to financial resources.
land
"Land" refers to the place of practice.
Mr. Chen Yingning's "Learning to Become Immortals" said: "If you choose a suitable place to repair, you must be close to the mountain city, with spring-like seasons and evergreen seasons. With the development of the southeast situation, you can get more sunshine; The peaks in the northwest can keep out the cold wind in winter. The local folk customs should be pure, which is convenient for purchasing supplies. It is also necessary to have lush plants, preferably conifers and other trees. All trees should be forests, and it is useless to sparse a few. In the southeast provinces, whether in rural areas or mountainous areas, centipedes, snakes, insects and other things are prolific and often climb into other people's beds. So the room should be clean, the doors and windows should be tight, and the kitchen should pay more attention to preventing toxic gases from invading the diet. The furnishings at home should be simple, unless it is a daily necessity, don't put it at home. In a quiet room, there should be sufficient light and air circulation to prevent microbial growth. But when you are working, the light can't be too bright. It's too bright to be stable. It is not suitable to blow indoors, and it is easy to catch a cold when there is wind. "
According to the different levels of cultivation, Mr. Chen Yingning divided the suitable environment for cultivating immortality Taoism into three steps: initial achievement, beautiful scenery, flowers and birds, numerous plants, fertile countryside, sufficient agricultural production, worry-free diet, strong rustic atmosphere and convenient harvest, so as to cultivate and supplement oneself with the help of unlimited external vitality. Two steps, if you want to be in a place where aura is condensed, you must have blessed land, clear springs, mountains and rivers, smoke clouds, deep portals, loose paths and secluded places. It is easy to reach the avatar here. The three-step work is after the sun god. If you want to be in a murderous place, you have to climb the peak of thousands of feet, where there is no land under the ground and the sky can reach the sky. Poor vegetation, ice and snow, inaccessible, snakes and tigers lurk. The state of the three-step effort is different, and the required environment is different, which is completely unattainable.
The word "land" is also useful in terms of the five elements, not the general five elements. The so-called five elements in the mountains, wood, refers to trees, many trees in the mountains, especially trees, so that the air is fresh and beneficial to the body. Gold means that the mountain should be alive and long, so that the groundwater can fumigate along the mountain and then flow down for people to drink. Mr. Chen Yingning's Lecture Notes on Huang Tingjing said, "If the water is natural, but the spring water can reach the top of the mountain, the underground water vapor will steam through the stone along the vein, which is caused by the underground internal heat", which is called "also". Water refers to the long-flowing spring water all year round. Fireman means that when you get up in the morning, you can see the rising sun. Diggers mean that the land must be fertile and nutritious, and crops can grow by sowing. Water and soil are mainly for survival, and wood fire gold mainly refers to the environment. However, this place is only suitable for the initial work mentioned by Mr. Chen Yingning. As for the later work, it seems inappropriate and needs to be found elsewhere.
Huang Yuanji's View of Wealth in Internal Law
Huang Yuanji divided it into "the land rich in internal law" and "the land rich in external law". Generally speaking, the land of wealth outside the law is regarded as all the expenses of practice methods and maintenance efforts, as well as the place of practice. Therefore, Huang only said that "the land of wealth outside the law is well known to all scholars, so I won't go into details." The so-called "wealth within the law" says: "A man of practice knows life and death, and knows truth and falsehood. If he wants to be poor, he must first reconcile the fire and water in his body, and the fire and water will be reconciled the day after tomorrow. Then the yang in the pit will be from bottom to top, and the yin in the middle will be from top to bottom, and the upper and lower will intersect in the empty hole, and it will be ripe. This ridge has a yang and a yin in the middle, that is, internal wealth. It is warm day and night and does not leak, that is, it accumulates internal wealth; Can find a coup from their own body and mind, that is, internal law; The preface is the original person, that is, the internal partner; A virtual danger point is the mainland. If you want to refine the elixir, how can you not prepare four? "
