What are the symptoms of periarthritis of shoulder?
There are two main symptoms of scapulohumeral periarthritis: 1. It is shoulder pain, which can be in front of shoulder, outside shoulder and behind shoulder. In severe cases, the shoulder seems to be frozen stiff, so it is also called scapulohumeral periarthritis. Periarthritis of shoulder is an adhesive inflammation of shoulder joint. Common in middle-aged and elderly people aged about 50 or above. The main symptoms are shoulder pain and limited activity. With the progress of the disease, the pain symptoms get worse, and even small movements can't be completed.
