His earliest thought of being sage inside and king outside had a far-reaching influence on Confucianism.
He has profound views on the Book of Changes, pointing out that the Book of Changes is based on Yin and Yang, and its three thoughts are in the same strain as the three talents of the Book of Changes. His literary imagination is rich and peculiar, and his language is flexible and changeable. He can write subtle and unspeakable philosophy fascinating, which is called the philosophy of literature and the literature of philosophy. Zhuangzi's works were compiled into Zhuangzi, Zhuangzi was written in the pre-Qin period, Sima Qian said that Zhuangzi had written more than 100,000 words, and Han Shu Literature and Art Annals contained 52 Zhuangzi. There are only 33 articles in Zhuangzi with more than 65,000 words, which are divided into three parts: internal articles, external articles and miscellaneous articles.
These thirty-three articles were compiled by Guo Xiang in the Jin Dynasty when he annotated Zhuangzi, and their titles and chapters were also different from those in the Han Dynasty. The rest of the articles may have been deleted by Guo Xiang. It was generally believed that Zhuangzi was written by Zhuangzi. Since the Song Dynasty, this view has been questioned. Later, it was generally believed that seven inner chapters were written by Zhuangzi and fifteen outer chapters were written by Zhuangzi's disciples.
Or it was written by Zhuangzi in cooperation with his disciples, which reflected Zhuangzi's real thoughts. The situation of eleven miscellaneous things will be more complicated It should have been written by the Zhuangzi School, but there is room to think that it is not all the thoughts of the Zhuangzi School, such as "stealing feet" and "saying swords".
