Carp painting, oil painting, Chinese painting, watercolor, illustration No.65438 +0 Chen Zhongzhi.

Chen Zhongzhi, 1935, from Guangxi. Now he is a professor at Xi Academy of Fine Arts. Influenced by Guan Shanyue and Li Xiongcai of Lingnan School of Painting in the early stage, and later by Zhao Wangyun and Shilu of Chang 'an School of Painting, and his life experience in the Loess Plateau, he gradually formed a unique artistic view.

Chen Zhongzhi is good at figures and also draws flowers, birds and landscapes. One of the characteristics of his figure painting is the national style. He is a painter who is familiar with the tradition of Chinese painting. He not only mastered the techniques of freehand brushwork in painting, but also made an in-depth study of traditional painting in Han and Tang dynasties, and applied the indulgence and conciseness of literati painting to the creation of modern characters. Another major feature of Chen Zhongzhi's figure painting is that he combines the strengths of China and the West, and the traditional lines are well combined with western paintings. Shao Dazhao, a professor and art critic at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, once wrote: Since the fifth year? After Xu Beihong, Jiang and others, Chen Zhongzhi made outstanding contributions to the revitalization of modern ink figure painting.

The Source of the Yellow River, written by Chen Zhongzhi 1984, was incorporated into the Chinese textbooks of ordinary primary schools in China, and won the international honorary gold medal in the second World Chinese Art Competition, which had a great influence on the art world. His representative works include Looking into the Distance, Broad Grassland, Shake the Earth, Bath, etc.

No.2 Shihu

Shi Hu, 1942, was born in Xu Shui, Hebei. The representative figure of China's painting innovation in 1980s was one of China painters with international influence, and was called "painter among painters" and "Picasso of China" by Americans. Now living in Macao.

1978, Shi Hu visited Africa 13 countries and published "Sketch from Africa" the following year, which caused a sensation in the national painting circle. Shi Hu's success lies in his creative and cultural courage in combining Chinese and Western painting traditions with various plastic arts. His careful analysis of Shi Hu's visual schema has the original passion of African woodcut, the capture and misappropriation of cubism and expressionism, and the aesthetic purification of the oriental rhythm of China ink and wash art lines. Shi Hu is infatuated with China ink painting art and China plastic culture. Even in Sketch from Africa, he is full of expressive force and charm of oriental art lines.

Since 1990s, Shi Hu has achieved great success in overseas painting circles, and his works have repeatedly hit high prices in the international market. The masterpiece Xuan Teng Tu shows the heroic spirit of the people of modern China to save the country and survive with brilliant pictures, and was collected by overseas Chinese for 8 million Hong Kong dollars on 1995.

Third place Tian Liming.

Tian Liming, male, 1955, was born in Hefei, Anhui. Now he is the president and professor of China Painting Academy of Central Academy of Fine Arts. Among contemporary young and middle-aged painters in China, Tian Liming occupies a decisive position. His position lies in his completely traditional Chinese painting and his refreshing contemporary language expression.

Tian Liming's works are unique and unforgettable. This style is divorced from the traditional boneless method-it is diluted to the extreme and spread to all pictures in order to create a spiritual "sunshine" realm, which is hazy, quiet and quiet. In recent years, the method of calligraphy has been added to the painter's works, which has evolved into a pen-and-ink structure with calligraphy and painting. Tian Liming used traditional pen and ink to express modern concepts, highlighting personal feelings and fantasies, and at the same time made a unique visual interpretation of traditional concepts such as the unity of heaven and man, the doctrine of the mean, tranquility and far-reaching goals. The simple fashion and the calm and harmonious atmosphere between man and nature revealed in the works are not only the painter's personal experience and artistic style, but also the opportunity and portrayal of China's traditional humanistic spirit in the contemporary life situation.

The effect of introducing light and shadow into Chinese painting is unprecedented, and Tian Liming's exploration in this field provides a new possibility for Chinese painting. His masterpieces include Forest of Steles, People Swimming in the Sun, Blue Sky, City People, Girl Singing Red Wine, City Holiday, etc.

Fourth place Zhou Shaohua.

Zhou Shaohua was born in Shandong, 1929. Now he is a member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a first-class artist and an academician of China Painting Academy, enjoying special government allowance. Good at ink and wash landscape painting and art criticism.

Zhou Shaohua is one of the two most influential painters in contemporary China ink painting, and he is also called "Southern Zhou and Northern Wu" with Wu Guanzhong. The mountains and rivers, ridges, peaks, and sunset clouds painted by Zhou Shaohua are very imposing, and the charm of the scenery in the painting comes to my face, which has strong expansibility and impact. At the same time, what is related to the broad momentum is the anger and strength expressed in the works, which is the embodiment of a spiritual strength contained in painting. Since the banner of "Chinese Painting Reform" was first raised in the early 1980s, Zhou Shaohua has maintained amazing creativity. At the age of 70, he still paints the mountains and rivers of the motherland with a pen, traces back a hundred years of glory, and spares no effort to carry forward Jingchu culture. In his dictionary, people see one exclamation point after another.

Zhou Shaohua has been invited to Japan, the United States, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries and regions for art exhibitions and art exchanges. The Soul of the Yellow River, now in China Art Museum, is his masterpiece. In recent years, special exhibitions with cultural values and spiritual implications, such as Dream Back to Yangshao, Heroes of Han and Tang Dynasties and Crazy Songs of Jingchu, have been launched successively.

Fifth place Ma Quanyi.

Ma Quanyi is a "famous rider painter" in China today. Born in 1944, Hui nationality in Anhui province. Learn from Huangzhou. National first-class artists enjoy the State Council expert allowance. He now lives in Beijing and Haikou.

On the vast grassland, horses either hold their heads high and scream, or look back with their hooves, or gallop with Kazakh girls. Appreciating this beautiful picture, people seem to be in the distant and mysterious west. This is the feeling brought by Mr. Ma Quanyi's works "Hundred Horses", "Picking Sheep" and "Chasing Girls". Ma Quan Art, a native of Xinjiang, is famous for its horse painting, and is praised by international critics as "the most energetic and vital painter in the world today", "the most powerful painter in contemporary China" and "the master of horse painting in the contemporary world".

Ma Quanyi's masterpieces are hung in the Great Hall of the People, Tiananmen Square, the Central Military Commission and the general offices of the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council. He has been invited to write for UNESCO, international national arts organizations, the International Olympic Committee and many heads of state. His works are collected by major museums all over the world.

Sixth place Zhou Sicong.

Zhou Sicong (1939.1-1996.1), a native of Hebei, is a famous contemporary painter in China. He studied under Jiang, Ye, Li Keran, and other famous artists. She promoted the innovation of figure painting in China in 1980s.

In the process of Chinese painting innovation in the 20th century, it inherited the new road of Chinese and Western integration pioneered by Xu Beihong, Lin Fengmian and Jiang. While gaining super modeling power, she also deeply grasped the pen and ink skills. Therefore, compared with masters such as Xu, Lin and Jiang, her works have enhanced the oriental flavor and national temperament full of modernity. This is her transcendence over her predecessor.

1979 Zhou Sicong's The People and the Prime Minister won the first prize of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. At the same time, her long-brewing, reflected in the struggle with Japanese imperialism, life group painting "Miners Map" came out. She went deep into Liangshan, Sichuan, and during the period of 10, she successively created works about the life and image of Yi compatriots. Among them are Mother and Son, Returning to the Plateau in the Evening, Rustling in the Trees, Returning at Night in the Snow and other works. It has a profound humanitarian spirit and praises the great maternal spirit, which has opened up a new spiritual field for contemporary Chinese painting. It marks that her art has gone to a newer and higher stage, and it is the representative work of China figure painting in 1990s.

Seventh place Fan Ceng.

Fan Ceng, a native of Jiangsu Province, 1938, studied under Wu Zuoren, Li Keran, Jiang,,, etc., and achieved a lot. In the late 1970s, he taught at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, and later established the Oriental Art Department of Nankai University as the dean.

Fan Ceng advocated drawing the essence of Shi Tao's "One Painting Theory" in painting, striving for the realm of nature, being good at sketching, and especially enjoying freehand brushwork figures. Few people in today's painting world can match his profound cultural and literary background. Because of this, the historical figures created by his self-narration are fresh and elegant, with both form and spirit, free and easy brushwork, rich lines and strong sense of rhythm, especially paying attention to the changes and twists of lines, which is unique and popular in the painting world for a time. In recent years, Fan Ceng advocated the artistic road of "returning to classicism and returning to nature", which has done a lot of influential work in theory and practice, and caused great repercussions in the art world.

Fan Ceng visited Japan from 65438 to 0979 and was praised as "one of the top ten painters in modern China" by Japanese art circles. In the mid-1980s, a four-foot paper work by Fan Ceng fetched a high price of 6.5438+0.7 million yuan, which was snapped up by gallery investors, and Luoyang paper was expensive for a time. After 1990s, Fan Ceng's Chinese painting entered a mature stage. Fan Ceng's representative works include Hua Duan Tu, Wine Holding High Spirit, Make the finishing point, Seven Sages of Bamboo Forest and so on.

No.8 Wu Guanzhong

Wu Guanzhong is recognized by the international art world as a representative painter of modern painting in China in the 20th century. 19 19 was born in Yixing county, Jiangsu province, and devoted his life to the exploration of nationalization of oil painting and modernization of Chinese painting.

As early as the early 1980s, Wu Guanzhong published an article "About Abstract Beauty" in Art magazine, explaining that abstract beauty is the core of formal beauty with his own artistic practice, which triggered the discussion on the relationship between "content and form" in the art world and promoted the discussion on the laws of plastic arts itself. Wu Guanzhong's exploration of the laws of plastic arts has formed his unique formal language style. And the exploration of this form of language is integrated with his understanding of China's cultural spirit. His oil painting creation has typical China cultural image characteristics, which is the key for him to break through and surpass the language barriers between ink painting and oil painting and realize the mutual transformation of aesthetic interests. Therefore, his oil paintings are full of rich China cultural poetry and charm; His colored ink highlights the rhythmic and rhythmic formal framework among points, lines, surfaces and colors in daily life scenes.

Wu Guanzhong was awarded the highest literary and artistic honor by the French Ministry of Culture in 1990, and was awarded the Paris City Gold Award in 1993. In 2006, Wu Guanzhong exhibited three masterpieces: oil painting scroll 1974? Dry goods | How to teach yourself to paint on a zero basis? It's been almost five months since the summer vacation, and I've painted some intermittently since the school started. This is the longest and most serious time for me to learn painting. During this period, I encountered many problems and some personal experiences. On the one hand, I want to sum up my five-month experience, on the other hand, I also want to share some of my experiences. I hope that friends who study painting with zero basis like me will take fewer detours.

For newcomers with zero foundation, you are welcome to express your opinions greatly, lightly spray, lightly spray, lightly spray.

First, several issues that need to be clarified before self-study begins

1. Why do you teach yourself to draw?

This is probably a problem that every newcomer tutorial will involve. This question is very important, because it determines whether you should teach yourself and the key direction of self-study.

Personally, I love painting, and I hope I can record my feelings with a brush at any time. This is probably the motivation of many hand-painted lovers. If you have, you can teach yourself, focusing on sketching and comic line drawing.

If you want to paint realistic or ultra-realistic works like Mr. Lengjun, then self-study is not feasible, except for a few geniuses. It is better to find a studio to lay a solid foundation for the art test, and it would be better if you could worship the master.

If you want to do CG and draw original paintings, you should study in CG training class system. Some training courses are aimed at basic students, others are not. Please consult clearly before signing up.

If you want to draw commercial illustrations, be an illustrator. Then my suggestion is that you can teach yourself for a period of time and then report to the remedial class after you have a certain understanding. Moreover, there is still a long way to go from self-study to being able to take over business, so we should be prepared for a protracted war.

2. Why can't self-study persist?

This is a problem that I have encountered in many failed self-study before. The reasons are summarized as follows:

[1] desire is not strong enough

I wanted to learn painting before, mostly because I was too idle, I didn't know how to spend my boring time, or I wanted to paint when I saw others painting so well. I don't know what I really want, and my passion for painting is not so strong.

Not long ago, I experienced a flood rebellion. Drawing freed me from my troubles, and I gradually liked the way of sketching on paper with a pen. I began to regard it as my hobby from the bottom of my heart, and I strongly hope that I can become a big move one day and record my feelings with a brush instead of a camera.

[2] Incorrect self-study methods lead to a lack of sense of accomplishment in the early stage.

I don't recommend starting with sketches from the beginning. Sketching requires a lot of boring geometry exercises, and it is difficult to find a suitable method by self-study. My previous failures all started with sketching, and I couldn't draw well after a long time. Even if I did, it would be a cube with a three-dimensional sense and no sense of accomplishment. So I think painting needs talent, and I'm not cut out for painting.

After a period of self-study, I can't find a sense of accomplishment, and it is easy to give up. Therefore, we should constantly create a sense of accomplishment for ourselves and motivate ourselves to stick to it. Learning anything new is like this.

How to maintain a certain sense of accomplishment will be discussed later in this article.

[3] There are no small partners who encourage each other

It is a very lonely thing for a person to teach himself to draw at his desk. Many people choose the studio because they like the atmosphere in the studio where everyone paints together.

If you teach yourself, you can find a friend who also loves painting and show him after each painting. If he gives you advice, it can help you make progress; If he praises your work, you will have a sense of accomplishment. If you sometimes slack off and don't want to paint, then he suddenly shows you his latest works, which can often arouse your interest in painting.

This partner doesn't have to be around, but can communicate through the internet, and it doesn't have to be a lot. One is enough. I often give my paintings to a high school classmate, both good and bad. Although we can't meet often, we can encourage each other through network contact.

If there is no such person around you, you can also communicate with me, and I am willing to make progress with you.

Second, the process of self-study.

When all the above questions are thought clearly, you can start self-study!

This part mainly focuses on my self-study experience, introducing some detours and experiences.

This is the first painting I copied after I made up my mind to teach myself to paint. My biggest problem is the inaccurate shape, which is probably a problem faced by many beginners. My solution is to start with the simplest objects, but not boring geometry.

Painting from easy to difficult is roughly: plants, animals, landscapes, people, and combinations.

Make this clear, and the learning order will be obvious. Draw a simple single object first, start with plants, and work hard on the combination of plants, animals and scenic figures, so as to ensure that you have a certain sense of accomplishment at each stage and a relatively stable process. Of course, it doesn't have to be exactly in this order. After you have your own understanding and preferences, you can skip one of the steps.

When drawing plants, it is also suggested to start with a single plant or even a leaf. If it is boring to draw simple plants for a long time, jump out and draw what you like. Remember that the important principle of self-study is: draw what you like, and then follow the principle of gradual progress.

For example, there was a time when I hated drawing a plant, so I ran to touch a sketch.

After drawing a few sketches, I went back to continue painting plants.

The self-study stage is copying, and it has not yet reached the realm of its own creation. So all the pictures except the dormitory sketch are basically copied from various painting books or online pictures.

I bought several tutorials on colored lead and followed the procedures in the books. I didn't draw one by one, but chose my favorite picture, or the principle: draw what I like.

I basically started with colored lead, because I happened to have a course on water-soluble lead at that time. Colored lead is not as difficult to control color as watercolor, and I can also practice line drawing. There is a disadvantage: it takes too much time!

For the practice form in the early stage of self-study, my suggestion is that colored lead is interspersed with sketch or cartoon line drawing. Painting in black and white for a long time is easy to feel monotonous, and painting in lead for a long time is easy to lose patience. As for whether colored lead is water-soluble lead or oily colored lead, I think it is better to buy water-soluble lead, because water-soluble lead can be used as oily colored lead without water, and sometimes it can simulate the magical effect of watercolor when it is wet.

I taught myself for almost a month. At this time, I basically had my own ideas about plant modeling, and I was more confident.

When I got tired of drawing colored lead, I went to sketch. I really like the feeling of brushing paper quickly with a pencil when sketching. But obviously because there is no foundation, my sketch has great problems, which will be mentioned in the analysis and summary later.

In August, painting was delayed because of something. After I picked up the brush again, I changed to a tutorial and began to try more complicated line drawing.

In September, the school ginkgo blossoms and bears fruit, and the new semester begins. Painting plants made me pay more attention to the grass and trees around me and began to pay attention to the forms of plants in nature.

Because of the beginning of school, my painting time has been reduced a lot.

I was tired of the same colored lead coloring method before, so I tried the new and faster colored lead coloring method shown above. From then on, I seldom painted colored lead, so I began to learn another color expression-watercolor.

I painted watercolor for the first time, but I didn't read the tutorial. At this time, because I had my own understanding of painting, I used watercolor to color in an imaginary way. Although it is passable, there are obviously many problems.

This is the picture at the beginning of this article, when I read some tutorials. Watercolor feels better than the first time.

The current progress of self-study is here. Because of academic reasons and my own problems, I don't often draw, and I often don't draw for ten days and a half months, so my progress is not very fast, but I am very satisfied. And the winter vacation is coming, and it's a good time to draw ~

Third, analysis and reflection.

Self-study to this point, have their own understanding of painting. I also know how to analyze my own problems and make clear the next direction.

At this time, the lack of foundation is obvious. Mainly reflected in two aspects:

1. Slow solidification

I once saw an art student sketch characters for ten minutes, but it took him a long time to set up the shape of ordinary plants. At this time, the foundation was weak. The biggest disadvantage of determining line drawings is that it takes a long time and is inefficient, and it is easy to lose interest in painting.

2. The lines are not neat and precise enough

This is very obvious in sketch, and it is also an important reason for slow drawing and unsightly picture. Imagine that others can determine a circle with one stroke, and you have to keep writing several strokes.
