1, machines replace people and lose their jobs?
Some people say that what is really terrible for migrant workers is that they have no work to play. What do you mean? It is now that artificial intelligence is developed and machine substitutes have begun to spread on a large scale. Many factories, such as Foxconn, used machines instead of labor, which suddenly reduced hundreds of thousands of people. If this goes on, there will be no jobs to play in the future, but what can migrant workers do? I can only lose my job and go back to my hometown and village.
2. Strict environmental supervision and factory closure?
Another problem is that in the past two years, the state's supervision of environmental protection has become more and more strict. Many factories were forced to close because they could not meet the emission requirements. The workers had to disband and go home. It is said that the total number of these people is several million, but it is difficult to find specific statistics, and it is estimated that it is indispensable. Then, these migrant workers can only pack their bags and go back to their hometown, and then find another plan.
3. The trade war escalated and exports were blocked?
In addition to the above two reasons, there is also a very important reason, that is, the export caused by the trade war is blocked. For example, in the 20 18 trade war, hundreds of thousands of employees have to go home on holiday. However, ZTE is, after all, a powerful large enterprise, and those small enterprises can't help it, so they can only close their factories and wait for the market to pick up. These migrant workers can only temporarily go back to their hometown to rest and wait for the factory to resume work.
4, rural revitalization, working on the spot?
According to statistics, in recent years, the number of industrial parks and factories in rural areas of China has gradually increased. Many migrant workers work on the spot instead of looking for jobs all over the world. Every year, the number of migrant workers who move across provinces because of their work nearby decreases by millions. With the gradual investment in rural revitalization, I believe that rural people will have more choices. If you can work nearby to make money, who wants to find a job in all directions? Not to mention, being close to home can take care of the elderly and children.
There are many factors for migrant workers to rework, but it must be exaggerated to say that the number is very large, but in some places there are indeed some migrant workers who do not return. Migrant workers go out to work because there is no suitable job at home, hoping to earn more money by going out. Then, why is the "very popular" practice now encountering the rework tide of migrant workers?
1. This season is a busy farming season. Although the land has been transferred now, there are still many places that have not been transferred. Small-scale farming is still the mainstream. Farmers don't want to waste their fields, so naturally they still have to grow food. Now is the time to harvest wheat and summer sowing seedlings in summer. It is difficult for the old people at home to finish, so they have to go back to their hometown to spend the busy farming season.
2. The general trend of national industrial transfer. In the past, due to the layout of the country's economic center of gravity, heavy industries were mostly concentrated in coastal provinces, where the economy was prosperous, while inland provinces, such as Henan, Anhui, Shandong and so on, had relatively weak economic foundation and large population, thus becoming major labor exporting provinces. Now with the industrial transfer and economic development, the industries in these provinces are also developing. Anhui, for example, planned the Wanjiang City Belt to undertake the national industrial transfer demonstration zone two years ago, which led to the settlement of many industries. Moreover, not only cities, but also factories around rural areas are increasing day by day. So you can work from home. Migrant workers prefer to work from home in order to take care of their families.
3. Technological development, technology replaces workers. Because most migrant workers don't have much professional skills, going out to work is also doing more manual work, which is a highly labor-intensive enterprise. However, with the increase of labor costs, every enterprise is upgrading its technology, and fully automatic production lines and machine work are constantly put into use. For example, Foxconn, known as the workers' factory, has been developing robots independently in recent years. As a result, some unskilled workers were eliminated and had to return home to find new ways out.
I didn't earn as much as I thought. Farmers go out to work with a psychological expectation that they will work hard for a year and leave their families and children behind. If you can't earn the income you want all the year round and feel that going out is not cost-effective, you are no longer willing to go out to work. Although the wage income is high now, the cost of living is also increasing, and migrant workers who have not made any money have a wave of rework.
5. Go back to your hometown to start a business, earn a lot of money and take care of your family. At present, whether at the national or local level, the support for rural areas is still very strong. Many farmers have decided to return to their hometowns to start businesses, engage in aquaculture and grow cash crops, and their annual income is also good. In addition, you can do odd jobs at home in your spare time, which can take care of your family and earn a good income, so you are no longer willing to go out to work.
First of all, a large number of farmers are re-employed, which is a bit exaggerated. After all, there is a limit to what the village can do. Then why do many people go back to their hometown? Personally, there are the following points!
First of all, with the strong support of the state, the gap between urban and rural areas has been narrowing. It is nothing new for rural families to drive cars and live in buildings now. Of course, these are inseparable from the efforts of rural people themselves, but they are also inseparable from the policy support of the state. Now many families are moving towards a well-off society and enjoying the welfare policies given by the state!
It's getting harder and harder to find a slightly better job now. In recent years, the economic development is getting faster and faster, the living standard is constantly improving, and the cost of living is getting higher and higher. In labor-intensive industries where a large number of migrant workers gather, migrant workers are dissatisfied with the long, low and tiring jobs in the past and hope to have better jobs. However, their group generally has low academic qualifications and skills, and those who work short hours and have high labor intensity.
Although there are still many migrant workers who will be content with the status quo and continue to engage in their previous jobs, a considerable number of migrant workers feel that such work is not cost-effective. Thinking that since there is no suitable job in other places, it is better to go home and look for opportunities. Now, wave after wave of young people return home to start businesses, saying that they have made a lot of money. After many people understand it, they will inevitably be moved!
Finally, let's sum up the reasons for the "rework tide". I believe that most of them still have their own plans, and they can make money in their hometown. Who would want to leave their hometown to make a living?
Great environment, trade war, this is a major international issue, the United Nations is powerless, and the American imperialists are aggressive, which makes us eastern powers have to fight back.
Real estate outshines others, showing too much, and bloom's is too colorful, that is, it is dying, and natural forces can't stop it.
The economic crisis is coming, and I don't know yet. Factories and enterprises have closed down. Where do you want migrant workers to make a living?
Then, migrant workers are too old to do energetic work, and their children are incompetent or academically successful, so it is impossible to inherit their parents' industry.
In fact, the countryside has become a problem now. In this rich land of Jiaodong Peninsula, 40% of rural houses are uninhabited all the year round, and 40% of farmland is deserted. There was no one on the street, and hardly anyone could be seen. Only the Chinese New Year can be lively for a few days, and it is still popular. The net loss of population from towns and counties went to Qingdao, Jinan and Yantai, but with so many houses built, the whole town can live in the city.
There are several reasons for the rework tide:
First, because the city has gone to the stock house and there are few newly developed areas, migrant workers can't find a way out, so they return home.
Second, the national policy is now heavily tilted towards the countryside, and farmers have benefited. The rapid development and broad prospects of rural areas have attracted farmers to return home to start businesses, so a large number of migrant workers have returned home.
Third, in the busy farming season, mature crops have not been harvested, and migrant workers temporarily return home to harvest crops, so a large number of migrant workers return home.
Fourth, the country is now trying to implement the policy of merging towns and villages. Migrant workers can't afford to buy houses in cities, so they go back to their hometowns to rebuild their homes. So there was a wave of rework.
There are many reasons for the wave of rework. For example, there were about 300 people in our village group in earlier years. Except for 20 elderly people and nearly 20 left-behind children, almost all of them go out to work. In the past two years, 20 young people have returned to the countryside, and 50 or 60 have returned to the county seat. What is the root cause of this phenomenon?
First of all, the rural elderly population is aging day by day and needs new labor force to supplement it. For example, the overall contract for land leveling also requires young people who understand technology. However, some people who are too old in the aquaculture industry, such as raising lobsters, can't do it, and only some children can go home.
Secondly, technological progress makes some traditional labor-intensive industries more automated, and the required labor force population is decreasing. Traditional manufacturing enterprises, such as X Shikang, absorb less and less labor with the improvement of the level of mechanical generation.
Thirdly, the overall economic development speed of China dropped from 10% to about 6%. In addition, the tariffs imposed by American devils lead to the lack of competitiveness of clothing, shoes and hats with low profit margins in the United States.
Fourth, because the environmental carrying capacity has reached the limit, the state has strengthened environmental supervision, which has caused many enterprises to close down at the expense of environmental protection in exchange for meager profits.
Fifth, the income from contracting large areas of land and part of aquaculture in rural areas is also good. Although it is hard, it is a good choice to take care of your family in the countryside.
Finally, in the county where my hometown is located, wages have increased greatly in recent years. Although there is still a big gap with first-and second-tier cities, there is great pressure to go out to work, so you can live with your relatives in your hometown, and a little lower income is acceptable.
It is undeniable that business has become increasingly difficult in recent years, and many small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas have been forced to stop production for environmental reasons.
Take my hometown as an example. There used to be a lot of migrant workers, but now there are few left, and there are a lot of local employees, which has never happened in more than ten years. Because it is hard to find a job, wages have naturally dropped a lot, but prices have increased year by year. This is the real situation here. No matter how you believe that GPd is increasing year by year, rural income is really decreasing year by year. We are still in the suburbs of urban-rural fringe, which has more advantages than remote villages, so whether you like it or not, the rural economic decline in recent years is an indisputable fact!
Because of environmental protection, most enterprises forced to close down are in rural areas. We used to accept foreign workers locally, but now all the locals are unemployed or in a semi-finished state. The reason for this is environmental protection. Everyone likes beautiful scenery, but what's the point of beautiful scenery if you can't have enough to eat and wear? The mountains in Africa are the clearest and the water in Africa is beautiful. Should we look like Africa? You can't sacrifice the interests of the majority for a few rich people! Therefore, environmental protection cannot be across the board. Excessive environmental protection has also led to the loss of a large number of industries. What can migrant workers do without jobs? It's strange that farming on our land doesn't starve to death.
Social development is to balance employment and ensure stability. If the extra population cannot solve the employment problem, it will also be the beginning of social unrest. After all, everyone has to eat.
Where is the rework tide? Why can't we find jobs?
Some people always take Ma Yun's words as quotations from Chairman Mao. How can enterprises give employees high benefits if they don't make money? What can we do if the government can't survive in the national economic downturn? Can enterprises change the big environment? Shut your ignorant mouth. Don't push if you haven't done business!
Before the Spring Festival last year, a large number of migrant workers returned home. Because there is nothing in the factory. Stop doing it. Migrant workers come out to earn money, not to travel. Food and shelter are all outside. Spend money like water. If you can't make money, you have to go home.
But in the first half of this year, I haven't heard of rework.
