Zhongwan point: also known as Taicang, Renmai point, four inches above the navel. Has the effects of regulating stomach, regulating middle energizer, tonifying deficiency, invigorating qi, invigorating spleen, and eliminating dampness.
Indications: Stomach and wrist pain, nausea and vomiting, hiccup, nausea, abdominal distension, diarrhea, peptic ulcer, gastroptosis, superficial gastritis, stomach cramp, dyspepsia, enteritis, gastroneurosis and other gastrointestinal diseases, fatigue, limb weakness and other symptoms.
Zusanli point: three inches below the outer knee and one horizontal finger. It has the effects of invigorating spleen and regulating stomach, harmonizing qi and blood, eliminating pathogenic factors and preventing diseases, and is the first key to health care.
Indications: stomach pain, abdominal distension, bowel sounds, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, edema, nervous system diseases, acute and chronic mastitis, intestinal carbuncle, etc.
Precautions for moxibustion:
① Those who are hungry, full, drunk, afraid, furious, thirsty, tired and nervous should not be moxibustion. People with weak constitution should not have strong moxibustion.
② Spontaneous bleeding and bleeding after injury have not stopped, which is not suitable for skin infection, ulcer and scar. Moxibustion should be cautious in the eye area, neck back area and chest back.
③ Warm moxibustion is not suitable for one hour after meals, and do not wash your hands or bathe in cold water for half an hour after warm moxibustion.
Drink more warm water than usual after warm moxibustion (never drink cold water or ice water), which will help the excretory organs to eliminate toxins in the body.
