The Influence of Management Thinking on Management Practice
The ultimate goal of scientific research is not to seek the understanding of individual objects, but to pursue universal conclusions. However, the ways and methods to draw general conclusions are not limited to experimental or empirical research, but can also be inferred from sample test data that can reflect the overall characteristics. We believe that:
(1), the general management ability quality evaluation elements are accurately positioned.
There are many factors that affect the effectiveness of government cadres' management activities, both the managers themselves and the management environment. In the manager's own factors, including the manager's ability factor and the manager's non-ability factor; Managers' ability factors can be divided into potential factors and realistic management ability factors. What we study is the component of the realistic management ability of the ability factor in the manager's own factors, that is, the general management ability quality that all kinds of government cadres should have, so it is defined as the general management ability quality.
(2) The internal logic of general management ability and quality is clear.
We divide the general management ability into three levels: management consciousness, management strategy and management skills. Management consciousness is the premise and foundation. Without a correct understanding of modern management concepts such as leadership authority, management responsibility, management authorization, communication and coordination, policies and laws, it is impossible to form conscious, stable and consistent management skills. Management strategy is both a condition and an intermediary. Only through the change of correct management strategy can management consciousness change from ideology to realistic management behavior. Management skills are not only the purpose, but also the result, which is the logical development of management consciousness and management strategy. The relationship between the three accords with the general law of human understanding objective things and engaging in social practice, and its internal logic is clear.
