In China and the world, there are many longevity towns, where the life experience of longevity stars has been summarized. Compared with these longevity experiences, they are varied and have local characteristics, and there are not many similarities. If we have to find the same point, we often find that the living habits of some long-lived elderly people are very unhealthy. For example, not smoking and drinking less is recognized as common sense of health care, but some long-lived elderly people smoke and drink too much. For example, Madame Carmen of France lived to the age of 122, which is the oldest person on record, but she started smoking at the age of 2 1 and smoked until she was 1 17. For another example, a good attitude has always been considered as the way to live a long life. However, the survey report of centenarians in Jiangsu Province found that although some centenarians are gentle and never lose their temper, there are also some centenarians who are stubborn and often lose their temper and have a hard time. They have to attribute the latter to "being able to achieve psychological balance through venting", and they never lose their temper, and they often lose their temper. It makes sense to say the opposite.
In fact, the longevity experience of these so-called longevity towns is summed up by local living habits. Most local people live like that, but most local people don't live long. In any place, there are not many centenarians who live long. They live so long not because of these habits, not to mention bad habits, but because they happen to have some longevity genes, which makes them more immune to bad habits. If they have better habits, they may live longer and be healthier. The reason why the proportion of centenarians in a certain place is relatively high is because someone there happens to carry longevity genes, and that place is relatively closed. Due to small-scale marriage, some longevity genes appear relatively frequently in the local area. So the so-called hometown of longevity is often in remote places. Besides, some so-called longevity towns are actually hype.
In other words, the life span of centenarians is mainly determined by genes and has nothing to do with lifestyle. It is of scientific research value to investigate the real longevity town, find longevity genes and discover longevity mechanism.
Scientific health care knowledge is not based on the life experience of centenarians. It is a conclusion drawn through a large number of studies with scientific methods such as large-scale epidemiological investigation, in vitro experiments, animal experiments and human clinical trials. It can't guarantee that everyone can live a long and healthy life, but for the general population, it provides the greatest possibility of health and longevity.
