Two works inlaid with colored gems.
In the warm spring season in bloom, I came to Miao's home as promised. He showed me two treasures.

One is a two-door drawer-type painting cabinet. Cinnamomum camphora, covered with gold, rhombus, height 1.5m, width1.2m.. There are six jade figures embedded in the cupboard. There are two pictures on the side wall. Mu is directing and meeting fairies, two cupboard doors, two drunken imperial ladies and two drawers below, seeking sages and wives respectively. But most of the stones have fallen off, and the traces are still obvious. It seems that they have a history of nearly a hundred years. Miao said that he bought it from the old furniture market at 600 yuan's expense. The seller claimed that the wardrobe was bought from the home of the late Chen Meihao (1893-2004, a famous doctor in Wenzhou) and was a gift from Wu Baiheng (1894- 1974, an industrialist in Wenzhou) when Chen Meihao got married.

The other is a side portrait with colored stones, and the producer is Miao himself. He said that this work is 80 cm high and 60 cm wide. It was made by 1967, and the flat bottom is inlaid with colored frames. The author shows Mao Zedong's radiant spirit with the subtle changes of warm stones; Its hair, collar and background are all made of cool stones such as purple flowers and sky blue green, and the colors are bright. The works probably spread to the society when the art sculpture factory was dissolved. According to experts' estimation, this colored stone mosaic is worth 654.38+10,000 yuan. With the consent of the holder, Miao Jincheng took photos to commemorate his proud work and life.
