Danone is not from Nongfu Spring. Nongfu Spring Co., Ltd., formerly known as Zhejiang Qiandao Lake Yangshengtang Drinking Water Co., Ltd., was established on September 26th, 20 14, 1996. Headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, it is the holding company of Yangshengtang. Danone is a product of Danone Group, a multinational food and beverage company. Danone Group was founded in 1966. Since 1990s, Danone Group has been implementing an active business internationalization strategy. In just 40 years, it has become a giant in the world food industry and has a number of international brands, such as Danone, Shandong and Evian. In 1990s, Robust's AD calcium milk and purified water swept the country, and its "every drop of water was purified by 27 layers" became the classic advertising slogan of that era. In 2000, Robust was acquired by Danone of France. At first, it operated independently. Soon, the team including founder He Boquan left, and Robust was soon marginalized until it disappeared.
