Because people often come and go on the first floor, they don't change their shoes when they go in and out. Generally speaking, they clean furniture and sweep the floor. The second floor is a private space, which can be cleaned more carefully. Every step of the stairs and every room, including corners, are carefully cleaned with rags. Flooring was not popular at that time. It's all cement floors My concrete floor is always clean and shiny. So, when we get to the second floor, we have to change our shoes. At that time, I walked unsteadily, my slippers didn't follow my feet, and my toes always felt that I couldn't catch them. I don't know how many times I fell down the stairs. So I don't like wearing shoes when I go upstairs. Most of the time, I just carry slippers and go upstairs barefoot. My mother told me several times that my feet were cold, but I still went my own way. When the ground is cold in winter, wear socks and walk on the ground. After a long time, on the one hand, I am afraid of falling, on the other hand, I feel particularly comfortable stepping on the ground barefoot, and I don't like to wear shoes.

Later, my family moved to a residential building, and the floor was not as cool as cement. I could go barefoot at home all year round.
