What's the difference between local download and remote download?

Local download is the file to be downloaded, which is on the site server you are browsing.

For example, you can browse: http:/192.168.0.2/index.html.

Download address: http:/192.168.0.2/downloads/xyz.rar.

This is a local download.

In contrast, files are not on the same server, which is called remote download.

For example, you can browse: http:/192.168.0.2/index.html.

Download address: http:/172.17.6.1/downloads/xyz.rar.

It's a remote download.
