Jiangyou city, which straddles the banks of Fujiang River, is a cultural tourist attraction in central Sichuan. Known as the hometown of Li Bai, the poetry capital of China, the gateway of Jiuzhai and the throat of Shu Road, it is the sixth batch of China excellent tourist cities approved. Tourist attractions have convenient transportation and there are many star-rated tourist hotels. As of 2009, there are 2 four-star standard hotels, 4 three-star hotels and 3 two-star hotels in jiangyou city, with excellent tourism environment. There are four national 4A-level scenic spots 1, two national 3A-level scenic spots, two national 2A-level scenic spots and two national key protected cultural relics (Yunyan Temple Tian Fei Zang and Laojunshan Ancient Cave Site Group). There is the former residence of Li Bai, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, in Qinglian Township. Now there are some relics such as Longxi Courtyard, Taibai Temple, Yiguan Tomb, Mozhenxi, Fenzhu Building and Mo Chi Wash. There are more than 4,000 cultural relics in the collection, as well as Taohuatan, Xi Mo Chi, Dashishi and Leimingyan built in [Ming Dynasty].

Since 2003, jiangyou city cultural relics archaeologists have discovered 25 sites of ancient kiln caves for making nitrate in China, New Year, Yongsheng, Tongxing and Wen Sheng. The remains in the cave can completely reflect the technological process of making nitrate in ancient times. Experts believe that this area is rich in gunpowder cultural relics, is the largest cave site in ancient China, and is also one of the most important raw material bases of ancient gunpowder, with extremely high historical and scientific value. In 2006, Jiangyou was successfully registered as "the hometown of gunpowder in China". The gunpowder museum is also expected to be completed and opened to the public during the Golden Week on May 1, 2007. There are national cultural relics protection units such as Yunyan Temple, and provincial cultural relics protection units such as Li Bai's hometown and the Red Army Monument. There are Bailong Palace, Foye Cavern, Guanwu Mountain, Hayden Martial Arts School, Doukuang Mountain and other tourist attractions. Famous figures include Youmu Wang, Li Bai, Master Hayden and Congo Peace.
