Luohe City is located in the south-central part of Henan Province, which is the center of small and medium-sized urban agglomerations in central Henan Province. Luohe City is located in the crisscross zone between the eastern foot plain of Funiu Mountain and Huaibei Plain, with the overall terrain high in the west and low in the east, and a small amount of loess hills distributed. Rivers in the territory are Hehe River, Fenquan River and Hongru River, which are larger tributaries of Huaihe River, among which Shahe River and Lihe River cross the whole territory and cross the city after they meet, forming a unique landscape. There are three types of soil in Luohe: sandy soil, loam soil and colloidal soil, with loam as the main soil and high fertility level. River sand resources are mainly produced in Shahe River and Lihe River, with pure sand, uniform particle size and reasonable grading, with an annual output of 2 million cubic meters, which is an ideal building material.
Luohe is rich in tourism resources, and the historical sites are well protected. The tomb and memorial hall of Xu Shen, a writer and philologist in the Eastern Han Dynasty, have been repaired. Built in the Northern Song Dynasty, the classic building of Duan Temple, also known as "Long Ta Ancient Seal", is beautiful and magnificent.
