Xiaobian reading guide

Many diseases, the root cause, will be found to be cold and dampness. The disease is cold and damp, and the method should be warm. Why do we need warm legislation? What can "temperature" and "melting" do? How to achieve "warming" and "melting" with classic prescriptions? Let's look at the experience summary of Deputy Chief Physician Zhao Liang.

Prescription syndrome and drug syndrome

If Chinese medicine is compared to Wulin, then the classic prescription is supreme martial arts. The significance of classic prescription lies in curative effect and repeatability. Clinically, "prescription syndrome is the tip of syndrome differentiation" is an academic viewpoint that is often mentioned. I put forward another viewpoint-"medicine syndrome is the tip of prescription syndrome".

How to understand this view, let's give a simple example. For example, some arthritis patients, including gouty arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, if the patient's joints appear edema or obvious swelling, what medicine is the most effective? Through a lot of verification, I found that the most effective drug is Anemarrhena asphodeloides. Shennong Herbal Medicine has the effect of reducing swelling by water, so in clinic, patients with particularly obvious joint swelling will be treated with 30-60 grams of Anemarrhena asphodeloides to reduce swelling as quickly as possible. What should I use if the patient has a bad back pain? Ramulus Cinnamomi. A large dose of cassia twig 30g, plus aconite, usually has a very good curative effect. Another example is the treatment of recurrent oral ulcers. Many people may know that Gancao Xiexin Decoction is used to treat recurrent oral ulcer, but they will also find a problem. The effect is not ideal after use. If two other drugs are added to the prescription, it will be immediate. What medicine? Gypsum and rehmannia played a decisive role. I have dismantled Glycyrrhiza Xiexin Decoction once, and the effect of patients is as good as that of patients who simply use these two drugs. So I put forward that "medicine syndrome is the tip of prescription syndrome".

Clinically, drugs vary with syndromes. For example, Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction, in this recipe, I made many changes. If the patient has a bitter mouth, 30 grams of Scutellaria baicalensis can be used; If the patient is pregnant, replace the Trichosanthes root in the original prescription with Radix Puerariae; If the patient has stiff neck, Radix Trichosanthis is also replaced by Radix Puerariae; If the patient's stool is thin, you can use calcined keel and calcined oyster; If the patient has obvious dry mouth, oysters can be used; If the patient's abdomen is afraid of cold and stuffy pain, cassia twig can be changed to cinnamon. The clinical flexibility of one side directly determines the curative effect.

Why is it "warm"?

The theoretical basis of warming is "temperature". Why is it "temperature"?

From birth to the end of life, yang is decreasing day by day. People who have raised children may have a feeling that children are like stoves when they are young. Their bodies are very hot and they often sweat. Many parents want to ask me to help treat their children's sweating. I said no, because the child's yang is sufficient, which will inevitably promote the leakage of body fluid. This is a natural phenomenon, and not all sweating needs treatment. And many old people's bodies are cold. In addition, we will also find a feature that many children often have a fever above 40℃, while many elderly people can't burn.

Therefore, in a person's life, Yang goes downhill day by day and Yin goes up day by day, until the end of life, Yang leaves the human body and Yin reaches its peak. But there is an intersection in the middle. The male is 40 years old and the female is 35 years old. At this time, they just reached a stage of balance between yin and yang, which is why people of this age rarely get sick.

From birth to the end of life, yang is decreasing day by day. In order to prolong life, the only thing we can do is to protect the human body's yang and reduce the decline of yang. Therefore, I suggest to use warm therapy.

Why "transform"?

When the human body lacks yang, cold and dampness will form in the body. In this case, we must get rid of cold and dampness. There may be some patients with dry cough and no phlegm in clinic. Many people will treat it according to yin deficiency and dry cough, and the effect may not be ideal. What is the reason? Because dry cough without phlegm is only a symptom and phenomenon, its essence is not necessarily yin deficiency. What we need to do is to grasp the essence of the problem through the phenomenon. As far as dry cough is concerned, people nowadays suffer from cold and dampness, and cold drinks are not internalized. Natural dry cough without phlegm is not due to yin deficiency and water shortage in the body. Just like going to Harbin to see the snow in winter. It's snowing, and there's no shortage of water, but you feel unusually dry and even your lips are chapped. The reason is that cold leads to cold, water freezes into ice, and water vapor in the air decreases, which will naturally make you feel unusually dry. However, it should also be noted that if the cold drink in the body is not deep and the yang deficiency is not very good, it can still be turned into phlegm, and expectoration can also be thin sputum or foamed sputum. Therefore, dry cough without phlegm or thin cough is a phenomenon, and the essence is that cold drinks are insidious. Clinically, I usually use the following three prescriptions to treat cough: Linggan Wuwei Jiangxin Decoction, Shegan Mahuang Decoction and Xiaoqinglong Decoction. If it is hot, add gypsum; if it is not hot, don't add gypsum. This is the method of transformation, which is cold and wet, and the method should be warm.

After reading the article, do you have a certain understanding of warming up cold and dampness? The above is a summary of Zhao Liang's clinical experience for many years. For more discussion on "Wen Jing Fang", see teacher Zhao's new book Wen Jing Fang.

Warm meridian prescription, micro-development

Wen Jing Fang Development Micro innovatively puts forward the academic viewpoint that "medicine syndrome is the tip of prescription syndrome", systematically expounds the necessity and importance of warming meridians and cold dampness, and verifies it through the clinical confirmation records of classic prescriptions. This book is divided into three parts: the first part discusses the warming theory of classical prescriptions, including the source of warming, the legislation of warming, the distinction between cold and heat, and the treatment of warming; The middle part is the clinical warmth of the classic prescription, which is divided into upper jiao, middle jiao and lower jiao, involving 32 kinds of diseases and syndromes, and the medical records are wonderful; The second part is a medical talk, mainly a summary of the author's clinical experience, in which there are some original opinions. This book has a large amount of information and clear language, which is of high research and reference value to the clinical practice of classical prescriptions.

Easy-to-understand language and easy-to-understand discussion let you know that clinical prescriptions can be simple and interesting!
