Where can I get moxibustion for a cold? Where is the best effect of cold moxibustion?
Now it is autumn, and the weather in autumn generally changes greatly, especially the temperature difference between day and night is relatively large, so many people are prone to some diseases in autumn, such as catching a cold, and of course some people get angry and catch a cold because the weather is too dry. So, can you generally use moxibustion for colds? What acupoints are there for moxibustion to treat colds?

1, cervical Dazhui point

Dazhui is the intersection of Du Meridian and Zhuyang Meridian, which is the yang of human body. Moxibustion adopts mild moxibustion at Dazhui point in the neck for 20 minutes, and Fengmen point can be selected for 3-5 minutes.

Location of Dazhui point: When you bow your head, the most prominent point is behind your neck. When turning left and right, the spinous process bone selected by the head is the seventh cervical vertebra, and the lower depression is Dazhui point. Moxibustion at Dazhui point can effectively improve immunity, prevent influenza and treat fever and cold symptoms.

Fengmen point: two spines under Dazhui point, next to spinous process 1.5 inch. Fengmen point is the gateway to a cold. Moxibustion at this point can dispel wind and cold and treat colds.

2. Hegu point

Hegu point is commonly known as the tiger's mouth. Moxibustion at Hegu point can effectively relieve the symptoms of stuffy nose and runny nose when catching a cold.

When moxibustion, you should pay attention to moxibustion at Hegu point in your right hand if you have a left nasal obstruction, and moxibustion at Hegu point in your left hand if you have a right nasal obstruction for five minutes each time.

3. Fengchi point

When you touch the lower edge of the posterior bony process of the human ear backwards, you can feel a depression, which is Fengchi point, one on the left and one on the right. This point is an important point on the gallbladder meridian of human foot shaoyang. Moxibustion at this point can relieve exterior syndrome and dispel cold, and treat headache and neck pain caused by cold.

4. Fengfu point

Touch the depression along the back of the head, this part is Fengfu point, which is an important acupoint on the Du meridian of the human body. Moxibustion at this point during a cold can relieve exterior symptoms and dispel cold, and relieve symptoms such as headache, dizziness and stiff neck caused by a cold.

5. Different cold moxibustion positions

(1) wind-cold cold

1. Choose Baihui point, Dazhui point, Fengmen point and Shu Fei point for mild moxibustion, which can relieve the symptoms of aversion to cold until the local skin becomes warm and red, 1-2 times a day.

2. Choose Dazhui, Hegu, Shu Fei and Lieque points, and gently moxibustion at each point for 15 minutes until the skin is warm and red, and the symptoms of aversion to cold are relieved.

(2) Wind-heat cold

1. Select Dazhui, Quchi, Chise and Hegu points and peck them with moxa sticks. Moxibustion time of each acupoint is 10 ~ 15 minutes, 1 ~ 2 times a day. After the symptoms disappear, moxibustion can be done once or twice.

2. Choose temples, Tang Yin points, Quchi points and Hegu points, and peck moxibustion with moxa sticks. Moxibustion at each point 10 ~ 15 minutes, once a day, and moxibustion again 1 ~ 2 times after the symptoms disappear.

(3) Summer-dampness cold

1. Choose Shu Fei, Zhiyang, Yinlingquan and Zusanli points for mild moxibustion, each point for 15 minutes, and it is advisable to have a warm blush locally, once a day. After fever, dizziness, headache and chest tightness disappear, add moxibustion 1 ~ 2 times.

2. Select acupoints such as Shu Fei, Xinshu, Shu Ge, Tiantu, Zhongshan, Shenque, etc., and use moxa sticks to separate ginger, that is, cut ginger into 2 mm thick slices, punch holes in ginger, go up to the moxa sticks, and take them out when the moxa sticks burn out and the skin feels burning. Five to seven patches on each acupoint, one or two patches a day, until the cold is cured.

6. Precautions for moxibustion

1. Moxibustion has many effects, but it is not omnipotent. When you feel unwell, you should go to the hospital first to check what the problem is. You can't try to solve it through moxibustion no matter where you feel uncomfortable.

2. Moxibustion needs good living habits if it wants to have a good effect. Don't think that moxibustion can preserve health and cure diseases anyway, so I can do whatever I want without staying up late and paying attention to my diet. If you have such an idea, moxibustion can't help you.

3. Moxibustion sequence: "Qian Jinfang" records: "Where moxibustion is first yang and then yin, first left and then right, first up and then down." This is the order of moxibustion. If there are acupoints at the top, bottom, front and back, then moxibustion at the Yang meridian first, and then moxibustion at the Yin meridian. Moxibustion on the upper part first, then moxibustion on the lower part; Moxibustion on the left first, then moxibustion on the right. That is, first back, then chest and abdomen, first head and body, then limbs, in turn. There is no harm in inducing yin from yang, so you can't moxibustion against chaos. If you don't pay attention to the order, there will often be sequelae or uncomfortable feelings of facial fever, dry throat and dry mouth after moxibustion. Even if there is no such reaction, moxibustion should be done from top to bottom, which is the same as acupuncture and moxibustion. Order is not chaotic and will not be forgotten.
