First, tea originated in China, and it was first used as a sacrifice. However, it was used as food by people from the late Spring and Autumn Period, developed into medicine in the middle of the Western Han Dynasty, developed into a high-grade palace drink in the late Western Han Dynasty, and became popular among the people as a common drink after the Western Jin Dynasty. The earliest traces of artificially planted tea were found in Tianluoshan site in Yuyao, Zhejiang Province, with a history of more than 6,000 years.
Second, drinking tea began in China. The leaves are leathery, oblong or oval, and can be directly soaked in boiling water. It is divided into six categories according to varieties, production methods and product shapes. According to seasons, it can be divided into spring tea, summer tea, autumn tea and winter tea. Various kinds of crude tea or refined tea are reprocessed to form added tea, including scented tea, pressed tea, extracted tea, medicinal health tea, tea food and tea beverage.
In 3.20 15, China Academy of Sciences officially confirmed that the plant samples unearthed from Hanyang Mausoleum in Shaanxi Province were ancient tea, which has a history of more than 2 100 years. Recently, the tea unearthed from Hanyang Mausoleum was certified by Guinness World Records, making it the oldest tea ever discovered.
4. The natural conditions of tea planting include topography, climate and soil types. The terrain is mainly hilly, and the drainage conditions are good. Abundant precipitation, small annual temperature difference, large temperature difference between day and night, long frost-free period and good lighting conditions are suitable for the growth of various types of tea trees, especially for the growth of big-leaf tea trees. There is more sunshine in Zhixia in late winter and foggy in summer and autumn (Yunnan tea area). Sunshine is rarely beneficial to the overwintering and nutrient accumulation of tea trees, and is beneficial to the improvement of tea quality in summer and autumn.
5. Tea processing, also known as "tea making", is a process of making various semi-finished or finished teas from fresh tea through various processing procedures. According to the different processing technology, it can be divided into primary processing, refining, reprocessing and deep processing. Different processing techniques lead to different kinds of tea, and the formation of tea quality depends on the cooperation of processing procedures; High-quality fresh leaf raw materials can only produce high-quality tea under excellent processing conditions.
