Early experience of vest
Ma Jia 199 1 graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University with a master's degree in aerospace systems engineering. Since joining the work, he has served as director of the research office, director of the science and technology commission and deputy director of the research institute. In 2000, Ma Jia served as the chief designer of the Long March II carrier rocket. In February 2002, he was appointed as the assistant to the president of Shanghai Aerospace Technology Research Institute, and became an outstanding young technical expert, academic leader and leading cadre in the aerospace front. As a teenager, Ma Jia was excited about Gagarin's pioneering work in flying and Armstrong's "one small step" in bravely landing on the moon. He is determined to be an astronaut when he grows up, adding luster to the aerospace industry of the motherland. Therefore, when he graduated from high school to fill in the university volunteer, he chose Northwestern Polytechnical University without hesitation. During college, he gave up many holidays to reunite with his family and stayed at school to study hard. From then on, he asked himself to pay more for his ideal than ordinary people.

199 1 year, Ma Jia left the university gate with excellent results and came to Shanghai Aerospace Technology Research Institute with lofty aspirations. At that time, China's manned spaceflight project was at a critical stage of demonstration. Ma Jia, who just took office, devoted himself to the demonstration of the overall plan of the spacecraft with a strong sense of responsibility and great enthusiasm, serving the aerospace cause of the motherland. On the basis of digesting a large number of foreign materials, he systematically introduced the scheme of the Soviet Union Soyuz spacecraft to the Shanghai Joint Demonstration Group, and successively participated in the demonstration of technical schemes such as escape and rescue, orbital module utilization and the compilation of the overall scheme report of the Shanghai manned spacecraft. During this period, Ma Jia's pioneering work and unique views on the problem laid a solid foundation for the smooth development of the follow-up work.

199 1 year1month, the vest was transferred to design the overall performance of the rocket. As soon as Ma Jia arrived at the post, she threw herself into her new job. He humbly asks for advice, devotes himself to study, and constantly improves his abilities in all aspects. When I first entered the launch site, my vest carried a pen and paper with me. He always asks his old comrades for advice when he meets any questions he doesn't understand, taking notes carefully and drawing schematic diagrams. His studious style left a deep impression on everyone. Academician Sun once led a team to visit France. After the professional seminar, other comrades went out for sightseeing and shopping with great interest. Only Ma Jia is willing to be lonely, staying quietly in the hotel room, sorting out the meeting materials and digesting the new knowledge he has learned. His thirst for knowledge and serious persistence in his work laid a solid foundation for his future development.

From June 65438 to July 0994, Ma Jia served as the director of the First Research Office of the Institute, and also served as the overall chief designer of the Long March 4 B and Long March 2 D launch vehicles. It goes without saying that the first room should design three models and five technical states of "Long March II D", "Long March IV B" and "Long March III" at the same time, and also undertake related launch tasks and "863" high-tech pre-research. Ma Jia faced the challenge, bravely shouldered the heavy burden and devoted herself to her work. He rationally deployed scientific research personnel, fully mobilized the enthusiasm of new and old comrades, led the comrades in the whole room to complete the overall design work of various topics as planned, ensured the development progress of various models, and showed a solid professional foundation and a realistic and pragmatic work style. During this period, Ma Jia also presided over a lot of technical coordination work, including many technical interface coordination with launch sites, satellites and other large systems; Organized forces to cooperate with the professional research room to complete the development and test of the vertical transport aircraft with rotating separation fairing and star cover.

In the late 1990s, in the era of "selling tea eggs is better than making missiles", the space research team was very unstable, and many colleagues who had fought side by side with vest left space. At that time, Ma Jia was already the deputy director of the Institute. With his ability, it is not difficult to find an enviable job outside. However, the vest was not tempted by the material interests of the outside world and did not shake its determination to join space. He still urges himself with a high sense of responsibility and mission, and devotes himself to his work with ten times and one hundred times enthusiasm, constantly climbing the new heights of space technology. Under the influence of his personality charm, a group of researchers in the institute closely United and made selfless contributions to the cause of * * *. Especially on1May, 1999 10, two days after NATO bombed our embassy in Yugoslavia, the first launch of Fengyun-1 C star by the Long March 4 B rocket was a complete success, which greatly increased the ambition of the people of China. As the deputy chief designer of the Long March 4 B rocket, vest has made an important contribution to this. In 2000, Ma Jia served as the chief designer of the Long March II carrier rocket, becoming the youngest chief designer of the rocket in China at that time, and later served as the chief commander of this model. Although Ma Jia is shy and introverted in appearance, she is resolute and calm in heart, and has the excellent qualities of being fearless in times of crisis and daring to bear great pressure necessary for an aerospace engineering commander. Rockets are always in great danger from propellant filling to more than ten hours before launch. At this critical moment, Ma Jia always stared at the scene and paid attention to the latest situation of propellant with the test team members who participated in the refueling.

On the eve of a rocket launch, someone accidentally stepped on the propellant pipeline during operation, resulting in a slight leakage of propellant, and suddenly the air began to smell of propellant. At this critical moment, regardless of the toxic gas, the vest quickly boarded the tower and directed the on-site personnel to take remedial measures, and the situation was quickly effectively controlled. But whether the rocket can continue to launch, everyone present has no bottom in mind. At the critical moment, with rich practical experience and bold courage, Ma Jia once again made the decision to continue launching in the shortest time, and stayed on the tower all night. The next day, when the rocket finally put the satellite into orbit accurately, he and the test team jumped up, cheered and shed tears of excitement.

Another time at the launch site, the rocket control system was powered on for the first time and the platform collapsed. The platform is equivalent to the brain of a rocket, and the collapse of the platform has a great influence on the launch. Because there was no warning in advance, everyone suddenly fell into a helpless situation. The investigation without clues is the most clueless, and time is tight. The pressure at that time was unimaginable. Just when everyone had no idea, Ma Jia was very calm. He organized the developers of each subsystem to fully communicate, carefully checked every data, carefully checked every link, and truly left no dead ends and hidden dangers. Under the orderly command of Ma Jia, Qi Xin worked together to find out the fault in only two days, and quickly came up with an effective solution to ensure the successful completion of the launch mission. Vest pays special attention to technological innovation. When he led the organization of the technical scheme formulation, engineering design and trial production of the Long March II D rocket, he aimed at the advanced level at home and abroad from the beginning, boldly adopted new technologies in the design, and strived to improve the carrying capacity and launching accuracy of the rocket. He also carried out the application test of internationally leading laser gyro strapdown and GPS global positioning system. As one of the main leaders, he led the development team of the Long March II rocket, and after two years of full and efficient communication and coordination, the standardization, combination and serialization of the rocket launch ground test system were realized for the first time in China.

In addition to leading everyone to complete various tasks, Ma Jia often deduces formulas by himself, and constantly innovates on the basis of learning the successful experiences of predecessors. In the early stage of the development of propellant utilization system, in order to solve the sloshing problem in control, very complicated methods were adopted. The vest deduces its own formula, puts forward the variable coefficient method, and intervenes the control step by step to avoid the ups and downs of the control quantity. Similar cases of finding and solving problems in design practice and further innovating on the basis of applying other people's achievements are still many in Ma Jia's works.

On June 65438+1 October1day, 2003, the Long March II rocket launch team consisting of more than 100 people came to Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The Long March II rocket is responsible for launching a new generation of recoverable scientific experimental satellites in China. It is a key model of national economic construction and is of great significance to enhancing comprehensive national strength. At the same time, this is also the first rocket launched by Majia as the chief division. He felt a great responsibility. Due to various specific reasons, the effective working hours left for them at that time were close to the limit. On the premise of ensuring the reliability of rocket launch, race against time and speed become the bottleneck and key to successful launch. In order to ensure the completion of the task on time, Ma Jia led the launch team to actively coordinate and communicate with the comrades at the launch site and formulated a practical work plan. Under his strict organization and careful command, and with everyone's Qi Xin's concerted efforts, the rocket transition, unit test, subsystem test, matching test, general inspection, satellite-rocket docking, filling and launching were finally successfully completed. 165438+1October 3, the rocket was launched and the satellite was accurately put into orbit. The launch set a new record for China's test launch process with the progress of 28 actual working days.

In 2004, Ma Jia led the Long March 2 rocket test team to Jiuquan again to undertake the glorious mission of launching a recoverable satellite. Although the launch team was under great pressure due to special reasons before the launch, Ma Jia once again showed the demeanor of a general, calmly and meticulously directing various preparations. On September 27th, with a huge roar, the rocket successfully sent the satellite into space again, which presented a generous gift for the 55th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC). At the same time, this mission has also been recorded in history as the 80th launch of the Long March series of launch vehicles.

Ma Jia, whose technology is becoming more and more mature, also served as the deputy commander and deputy chief designer of China's new generation launch vehicle, and participated in the strategic research of China launch vehicle. At the same time, Majia also participated in the work of the national "863" space transportation system expert group, aimed at the world's most advanced space technology, and actively carried out research on medium and long-term space development.
