Shimenyan Scenic Area is located at the east foot of Wuzhai Village, Xingguang Village, Chuanchang Town, Nanjing County, more than ten kilometers away from Fiona Fang, with three caves and eighteen views. 1986, the stone hairpin, pointed stone tools and other cultural relics unearthed in water curtain cave in this scenic spot were identified as the cave sites of ancestors in Neolithic age. During the Tang Dynasty, Chen Yuanguang entered the rebellion in Pingping, Fujian Province, and Liu Po, the local leader of She nationality, lived in this dangerous cave, haunting the mountain valleys and confronting the government forces. So far, this story has been widely circulated among local people. Later, the monk Zen Garden of the Tang Dynasty came here from Jiangxi and loved its secluded forests and caves, so it built a house in the scenic spot Shiying Mountain, raised funds to build holes and repair paths, cut ponds and plant lotus, plant plum and bamboo, build pavilions and build temples, and created various scenic spots in Shimenyan, which was later called "the founder of the mountain".

The strange landscape of Shimenyan is a perfect match. There are more than 400 meters long spiral caves and Huaiyin caves which are warm in winter and cool in summer. In the 25th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1886), Meng Zhenyu, the magistrate of Nanjing, left stone carvings such as Luyuan and Leopard Hidden.
