Talking about TCM health preservation.
Health care, also known as health care, sanitation and health care, is to maintain and support life, enhance physical fitness and prevent diseases through various methods, so as to achieve the purpose of prolonging life.

Our ancestors, based on traditional culture and the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, gathered the essence of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and a hundred schools of thought, combined with the methods of health preservation, disease prevention and fitness in previous dynasties, formed a unique method of life cognition and the theory and method of happy health preservation.

Is the ancient concept of health preservation useful to modern times? The 30 "Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine" selected for the first time in 2009, the oldest is 93 years old and the youngest is 74 years old. This shows that TCM health preservation still has the effect of prolonging life in modern times.

Natural health

Health preservation is to treat diseases, prevent diseases, keep fit and live a long life through diet, daily life, exercise, qigong, meditation, acupuncture and entertainment.

(a) the four seasons health spring, summer and autumn harvest, winter storage, this is a natural law, people should conform to the natural law of health.

In spring, the yang is getting longer, the yin is disappearing and everything is growing, which is also a season prone to depression and recurrence of chronic diseases. Need to keep warm and cold, eat more sweet products, such as onions, dates and so on. In summer, everything flourishes and metabolism is vigorous. The solstice in summer is cloudy. Children and the elderly with weak constitution should use less cold drinks and cold things. It is easy to sweat a lot in summer and feel cold and wet. Go to bed late and get up early, maintain yang, and eat less bitter food. In autumn, yin is getting longer and everything is mature, but it is easy to consume lung yin, resulting in dry mouth and throat, and less cough and phlegm. Diet should nourish yin and moisten the lungs, and eat more nourishing yin products such as ginseng, adenophora, American ginseng, lily, tremella, lotus seeds, yam and almonds. In winter, the cathode is full and everything is hidden. Old people should go to bed early and get up late, waiting for the sunshine. "One yang rises in winter", and Chinese medicine pays attention to maintaining Yin Qi when it is cold. In addition, winter is a good season for tonic. Patients with yang deficiency can eat mutton and other foods, while patients with yin deficiency can use turtle shell, fungus and trotters.

(2) Life regimen According to health needs, time rhythm and personal habits, life should be regular. Time rhythm includes annual rhythm and daily rhythm. The annual rhythm is the law of spring, long summer, autumn harvest and winter storage, and the daily rhythm is "Ping Dan Xing", "Yang Qiang in the sun" and "Weak in the west and closing the valve". Meridian sleep is the key, which is beneficial to the physical condition and the circulation of meridians. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the daily circulation time of meridians is related to viscera, and the occurrence, development and recovery of diseases are related to the law of time.

(3) Food is the most important thing. Twenty years ago, people often said that "medicine is better than food", and eating well is enough. But in recent years, it has suddenly been discovered that taking health care drugs will be more helpful to our energy and physical strength.

Taking food, also known as bait, refers to taking medicine for health preservation, which originated from alchemists in the Warring States period and was later inherited by Taoism. Living conditions in ancient times were poor, but many people lived long by taking drugs. Like Ge Hong in the Jin Dynasty, he lived in the deep mountains, and the humidity was heavy. Every day, he had to boil Atractylodes rhizome powder to strengthen the spleen and dry the dampness.

Shennong Herbal Classic, one of the four classics of traditional Chinese medicine, divides drugs into three categories: upper, middle and lower. The top grade is nourishing life, such as ginseng and rehmannia glutinosa, which are mild in nature and cure diseases and preserve health. China products have both curative effect and nutrition. Inferior products are medicines for treating diseases, and many of them have side effects. Yan Zhitui "always wears a tree, he is over seventy years old, his eyes are still fine, and his hair and beard are still black".

Chinese medicine has two concepts about taking food. The first is to take a small amount for a long time, that is, take a small amount, but stick to it for a long time. Second, taking a drug for a long time can make you feel lighter and lighter. Here we briefly introduce several nourishing Chinese medicines:

First of all, ginseng can improve energy and physical strength. Ginseng includes northeast red ginseng, Shanxi codonopsis pilosula, Korean Korean ginseng, American American ginseng, etc. It has the effects of invigorating primordial qi, invigorating spleen and lung, promoting fluid production to quench thirst, calming nerves and improving intelligence. Its main components are ginsenoside and amino acids. Red ginseng is hot, easy to get angry, slow heart rate and cold, which is more suitable for the elderly; The medicinal properties of sun-dried ginseng are relatively peaceful; American ginseng is cold and is used as herbal tea in Southeast Asia. There is a patient who often eats American ginseng, but his energy and physical strength are ok, but it is always cold in summer and wears cotton trousers. The second is velvet antler, which has the functions of tonifying kidney-yang, nourishing essence and blood, strengthening bones and muscles, regulating chong and ren, and supporting sore poison. The main components are estradiol and amino acids. Many patients with low back pain, kidney deficiency or poor physique use pilose antler to mix medicine. The third kind is Cordyceps sinensis, which has the effects of tonifying kidney and lung, stopping bleeding and resolving phlegm. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that asthma is rooted in the kidney and marked in the lungs, so it is necessary to treat both lungs and kidneys. Cordyceps sinensis not only tonifies the lung but also tonifies the kidney, which deserves attention.

We should master the principles and taboos of tonic. The three principles of traditional Chinese medicine are to make up deficiency, to stop temperance, and to adapt to people, places and times. If the patient has symptoms such as cold, dry mouth, bitter taste, sore throat, expectoration, chest tightness, abdominal distension, constipation, thick and greasy tongue coating and strong pulse, it should be used with caution.

(4) Exercise for Health The ancients believed that exercise can dredge meridians and qi and blood, but it should follow certain principles.

One is the combination of static and dynamic health care, that is, static health care methods such as meditation and meditation are combined with dynamic health care methods such as physical exercise. Wuqinxi, Taiji Chuan, Baduanjin, Yijinjing, and walking are all very good. Second, long-term persistence. No matter what kind of health exercise, what suits you is the best, but it needs long-term persistence to be effective. Third, moderate work and rest should be combined with personal physical condition, and excessive labor will hurt internal organs. Huangdi Neijing said: Long-term vision hurts blood, long-term lying hurts gas, long-term sitting hurts meat, long-term standing hurts bones, and long-term injury hurts tendons. It can be seen that excessive comfort can also hurt people.
