Self-cultivation is a Chinese character, pronounced xishēn, which means self-cultivation and self-cultivation. Since ancient times, self-cultivation has been the fundamental way for everyone to get promoted. The chapter "University Classics" says: "From Tian Zi to Shu Ren, all of them are based on self-cultivation."
Moral root culture believes that self-cultivation is an internal solution, that is, "the virtue of self-cultivation is true" as Laozi said, and it is a practical method to verify and verify on oneself. The source of Zhan Yingsheng's "Inscription of Jingtang" couplet: "Carrying blessings and benefiting others; Respect for the body is cultivation. " Tang Yuanzhen awarded the Bachelor of Assistant Minister Du Yuan in the former Hanlin Academy: "Be cautious and self-cultivation, and be sincere for me."
Mr. Xiong Chunjin defined the concept of self-cultivation in the book Introduction to Self-cultivation Culture of Traditional Solar Terms in China. Moral culture believes that self-cultivation is an internal seeking method and a practical method of verifying oneself. This method is to grasp the internal relationship between man and nature as a whole, practice deeply, and repeatedly sublimate the objective law of the unity of man and nature.
Through "knowing from the body", we can systematically grasp the internal mechanism of the change of everything. It is based on heaven and earth, guided by morality, made out of nothing, and takes inaction as the norm. The process of self-cultivation is to treat the acquired consciousness, intelligence and voluntary muscles with the right way and good way, and to make them enter a state of governance that is highly compatible with the laws, rules and order of heaven with "good governance".
Three stages of self-cultivation:
Self-cultivation practice in the second primary stage. The primary stage means that the cultivation of self-cultivation and the practice of "human law and land" have not yet entered the ideal realm, and the inner world is still in the structural state of acquired divination, and the transformation of innate inaction has not yet been officially started and realized.
Self-cultivation practice in the intermediate stage. The intermediate stage refers to the stage of successful self-cultivation and successful practice of "human law". The position of the barrier in the body has become the position of innate Gankun, and the energy state of body and mind is similar to that of the outside world.
Advanced stage self-cultivation practice. The advanced stage refers to the comprehensive synchronization of the five movements and six movements (gas) with the changes of heaven and earth. The synchronous change of the body can be deepened and strengthened in strict accordance with the natural laws of heaven and earth, and step into the process of dharma and Taoism change from the stage of dharma and heaven.
