I. Introduction of activities
(1) Activity background
In order to improve rural basic medical knowledge, improve villagers' living habits and stabilize the incidence of chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. Based on the "two responsibility" belief that "it is our duty to pay attention to the health of rural villagers, and it is our duty to care for rural medical health", the Zhanxiang service team of the Youth League Committee of XX Medical University will go deep into the countryside from July 22, 2065438 to July 26, 2005 (for five days) to serve the countryside, care for children, further promote health knowledge publicity and education, and provide all-round medical care for villagers.
As students of public health college, we have the responsibility to pay attention to rural medical care and care for the healthy growth of rural teenagers; We have enough enthusiasm and responsibility to help more people with our medical and health knowledge. Although our activity time is not long, we hope that through this practical activity, villagers will pay more attention to their own health, help farmers get rid of bad habits, and vigorously advocate a healthy, civilized and scientific lifestyle.
(ii) Purpose of the activity
1) publicize the knowledge of prevention and treatment of common diseases in rural areas (such as rheumatism, calculus, hypertension, pesticide poisoning, etc.). Through the popularization of popular science health knowledge, local farmers' attention to their own health and daily practical health knowledge can be improved.
2) Quantitatively analyze groups and individuals through scientific research, give feedback and put forward relevant suggestions.
3) Enter the countryside through physical examination and community service: while preaching in the village, carry out simple community service projects and provide convenience services.
4) Visit poor rural households to understand the relevant situation, visit poor households in nearby villages, and collect the survey of rural living conditions and difficulties of poor households, so as to better carry out service activities in the future.
5) As medical students, we hope to exercise ourselves, create happiness and improve ourselves by going to the countryside. At the same time, "treating diseases and saving lives" is our ideal, and we hope to make progress towards our goal through continuous study and practice! In addition, as volunteers, we can be closer to the grassroots and strengthen our determination to serve the society by offering condolences to the elderly who are widowed, free education in primary and secondary schools, and compulsory physical examination, helping farmers to work and experience rural life!
