Confucius edited Poems, Books, Rites, Music, The Book of Changes, and Spring and Autumn Annals-these six classic works have inherited the ancient culture and civilization. In China's traditional "Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism" culture, Confucian culture has always been the main line of China culture. Historically, the Xia Dynasty respected "destiny" and the Shang Dynasty believed in "ghosts and gods", but in the Western Zhou Dynasty, the Duke of Zhou began to "ritual and music system", "morality and prudence" and turned to "ritual and music civilization". This is a great leap in China's culture and civilization. Confucius did not talk about the so-called "destiny" and "ghosts and gods" by will and efficacy, but took a keen interest in the ritual and music civilization of the Western Zhou Dynasty. Confucius was the first person who led China to change from "theism" to "atheism".

Confucius was the first person who transformed the Book of Changes into philosophy and triggered the Book of Changes revolution.

5. Historical influence

The Spring and Autumn Annals compiled by Confucius is the first historical book to record the 242-year history of Lu from Lu Yinnian (722 BC) to fourteen years (48 BC1year). This Spring and Autumn Annals has only more than 10,000 words, but it has recorded a history of 242 years, which is concise and meaningful. The Spring and Autumn Annals laid the foundation for the development and establishment of China's historiography for more than two thousand years. It should be said that Confucius is the father of China's historiography, not Sima Qian. Confucius created history and was the first person to lay the foundation of China's historiography.

In the history, Confucius founded the first private school in China, which is famous for setting up an altar to run schools, teaching and educating people.

Confucius opened a school for politicians. His six textbooks, Poetry, Book, Rite, Music, Book of Changes and Spring and Autumn Annals, serve to cultivate all kinds of talents. Confucius paid attention to the education of "writing, conduct, loyalty and faith", and divided his disciples into four subjects: morality, speech, politics and literature, and made some achievements.

What's more, Confucius advocated "teaching without class" and implemented universal education. After years of teaching practice, Confucius has accumulated rich teaching experience and summed up a complete set of teaching methods and educational theories.

7. Sports influence

Confucius always attached importance to physical exercise. "Shooting" and "Imperial" are two compulsory courses among the six courses offered by Confucius. "Shooting" means archery, and "defending" means driving. As a teacher, Confucius attached great importance to archery, and his skills were also very high. In order to keep fit, Confucius paid attention not only to exercise, but also to nutrition and hygiene. Although Confucius' political career was short, he made outstanding achievements. Confucius advocated moral politics. Confucius has always put interpersonal friendship, happy family, harmonious neighborhood, social harmony, people's well-being and national peace in an important position. He put forward the political proposition that "the benevolent loves others".

Confucius said that rule by virtue means "rule by virtue, rule by courtesy" and rule by law means "rule by politics, rule by punishment". Confucius provided future generations with useful experience in educating the world, stabilizing society and safeguarding the country.
