Promoting self-development with cross-border thinking
From July 26th to September 27th, I spent 10 Sunday nights learning N5, which I will never forget, and my thoughts were greatly impacted. The conservative and rigid concept of education was washed away, and I began to think: what is real education and what is the purpose of education? In the post-epidemic era, how should our education respond and what should our teachers learn? What do our students really want to learn? How can our rural education make good use of network resources and free network resources to solve the problems of insufficient teachers and serious shortage of teachers in music, sports, beauty and other majors? Learning N5 has taught me to look at education outside of education and break the rigidity of educational thinking with cross-border thinking.

First, the design intention is helpful to the growth of teachers.

Dean Sheng Wang talks about the design intention of the fifth phase project of N Normal University. He wants to invite 13 outstanding people from all walks of life outside the education field to talk about education, let them talk about education in their eyes, show what their ideal education should be like, and discuss the meaning of life growth across borders, so as to open teachers' horizons and open channels of communication with the outside world. Through the study of ten lectures, I think teachers will feel the same way with me: business education, reading, art, museums, independent thinking, human civilization, Yangming's psychology, liberal arts education and a new interpretation of Tao Te Ching, all of which are indispensable in life growth. Learning and understanding these will be of great help to the growth of our teachers, guide the growth of students' lives and introduce new thinking into our education and teaching. Guests from inside and outside the education circle shared their experiences and practices in their respective fields with us, which opened my eyes and at the same time learned some specific methods that can be applied to my own education and teaching.

? Overview of the Second and Tenth Lectures

The first lecture is "What would education be like without the college entrance examination?" Through this topic, the experts discussed how to focus on the cultivation of core literacy and key abilities through education reform, curriculum reform and evaluation reform, and how to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, so that people can become people, children can become children, and students can become students, which is no longer just a tool for the college entrance examination, so that students can be optimistic and positive, form a people-oriented education, and realize cross-border, cooperation and innovation of various disciplines.

Second, the significance of business education to the growth of life is repeatedly emphasized by the Dean and Professor Xiao: primary and secondary school teachers do not need teachers to have knowledge of business education, but they should love and respect students and give their children some space, especially for naughty, hyperactive, crazy and talkative students, they should be tolerant, criticize them lovingly, evaluate students in a diversified way, create a tolerant environment for students and protect their entrepreneurial spirit. I think it is not difficult to do this if teachers pay attention to it.

In the third lecture "How reading nourishes life growth", Mr. Song Wu said: "Reading is the foundation of basic education. Teachers should give reading as a precious gift to children, cultivate students' lifelong learning ability and benefit them for life. "

In the fourth lecture, "How Art Nourishes Life Growth", the sharing guest Xiong Lei told us that to make good use of online free art course resources, teachers of non-art subjects should learn some arts, integrate art with life, and cultivate the scenes and environments needed for students' art study.

In the fifth lecture, "What is the significance of human civilization to the growth of life", Mr. Chen's "Wanderer" and the four stages of human civilization division have unique opinions. He said that it is very meaningful for children to establish a framework of human civilization. To this end, he proposed to expand students' reading range (provided that teachers learn to read and then introduce and coach students), and organize children to travel when economic conditions permit, so as to expand students' interest, broaden their horizons and broaden their horizons. At the same time, he believes that teachers should have a knowledge framework of human civilization in order to better influence students, so he suggests teachers to read more books.

In the sixth lecture "The Significance of Independent Thinking to Life Growth", Mr. Chen Hongguo taught us to read and think independently with his own personal experience. We should learn to find books and classics that suit us, read deeply and intellectually, cultivate our independent thinking ability, and make the life of live high wonderful.

In the seventh lecture, "How Museums Nourish Life Growth", guest Yang talked about the significance of museum education and put forward how rural schools can learn with the help of online museums.

In the eighth lecture "How Wang Yangming Nourishes Life Growth", Teacher A Xin shared with us his understanding of Wang Yangming's educational thought and how to apply it to education. It can be said that he has a clear-cut stand and is outspoken, and put forward many practical methods, and told us that after independent thinking, we must resolutely do it, which is the real unity of knowing and doing.

The ninth lecture was "Do you still need liberal arts education in the future" shared by Sheng Wang? Although the topic is interrogative, the answer in the lecture is yes: liberal arts education is needed. Because Mr. Sheng Wang thinks that compared with vocational education or practical education, the purpose of liberal arts education is to cultivate "unified personality". Liberal arts education emphasizes mutual learning between teachers and students. It is a kind of knowledge that enables students to settle down and cultivate their morality. It is also the sum of an educational concept, educational form and educational practice. Its form may change, but it will not disappear. Because liberal arts education is something that will remain unchanged for the next hundred years.

Lecture 10 "What is the significance of rational education to the growth of life?" In Chapter 42 of the Tao Te Ching, Mr. Yang Peng passed two sentences: "Tao gives birth to one, life gives birth to two, life gives birth to three and three products. Everything is negative and holds yang, thinking that it is harmonious. " Interpretation, he deduced the education of life, passion and harmony. It makes me feel refreshed. It turns out that China's ancient classic Tao Te Ching contains such an important educational idea.

? Third, inspiration and reflection.

1, read more books and classics.

All the sharing guests are knowledgeable people who are familiar with the classics. As can be seen from their speeches, classic famous sentences come from the mouth and they are familiar with history and classics. How many of us primary school teachers can do it?

2. Think independently and form your own style.

Similarly, the explanation of "the unity of knowledge and action" is different from that of Mr. A Xin and Mr. Chen Hongguo, but they can explain themselves and convincingly tell some truth.

3, action is rewarding, and persistence will produce miracles.

Teacher A Xin didn't come into contact with Wang Yangming's thoughts until he was 37 years old. Wang Yangming's thoughts injected infinite strength into him, making him a researcher of Wang Yangming's thoughts. As Teacher Sheng Wang said, actions bring gains, and persistence brings miracles. Teacher A Xin is the best example. Through teacher A Xin's interpretation of Yangming's thought, I know: As a teacher, as long as we think it is right, as long as it is helpful to students' growth, as long as it is beneficial to our professional growth, we will resolutely do it, even if no one supports it, even if no one understands it. Because what we do is right, it will definitely affect others in the end, wake others up and have peers.

If you want to learn well, you must join a learning team or organization.

In a learning team or learning organization, it will have a plan, a leader, a planner, a leader, a supervisor and a companion, and it will get help and encouragement when it encounters difficulties. Compared with individual learning, it goes further. You can't walk fast alone.

N5' s study has been suspended for a period of time, and then N6' s study will be ushered in, hoping to become an eternal nail house for Teacher N, so that she can constantly improve herself and live a fuller and happier life.
