I am looking forward to pushing open the iron gate and striding up the steep slope, and the teaching building full of antique flavor comes into view. The stone statue of Confucius in the atrium is full of solemnity, kindness, harmony, modesty and wisdom, and the model image from generation to generation is amazing. Looking around again, the classical and elegant pavilions and fish ponds make people relaxed and happy. I waited in the yard for a while, and my friend Li Man came out to meet me. She is dressed in a pink Hanfu, gentle and elegant, with a sweet smile. Several children around 3 years old behind her also poked their heads out of the classroom and asked where the guests were from.
It also happens to be the time of school. Teachers and other students passing by nodded and greeted me with smiles, and the atmosphere was harmonious and comfortable. Enthusiastic Li Man first took me to my hotel. The name of the house is "Tianxuanju", with arched windows on both sides, which is both classical and cheerful. The hall is spacious, with wooden tables and chairs and scattered tea sets. Walking into the dormitory is even more antique, with paintings and calligraphy hanging on the side and bedside. The French window in front can see the tree-lined path on the wall of the college. The feeling of being at home naturally came, and my friends said that this was the way for the headmaster to approve my stay, and it was also the way to visit relatives and friends.
Putting down my luggage, I visited the principals here, He Laoshi and Miss Yang. During the conversation, both of them were easy-going, polite and affectionate, which made me feel kind and natural.
At noon, the teachers led the children into the dining hall in an orderly manner, and after sitting down, they made pre-meal sacrifices together. During the whole meal, the children observed the etiquette ... "No rice, no rice, no food, no biting bones, no fish, no dog bones. No real harvest, no food ... "
As usual, after lunch, the children went back to the classroom to clean up, and the children in the college were very careful and diligent in doing housework. My friend told me that it is mainly for children to cultivate their minds through labor, so that they can understand in advance the difficulty of running a good family and the hardships of their parents. In the process of working, children work together and help each other, further enhancing each other's feelings of brothers and sisters. I am surprised that older children will take the initiative to help their younger brothers and sisters and respect and care for the actions of young gentlemen. These children are at least three years old. I'm beginning to think that children's potential is infinite, and maybe our excessive worry is the obstacle to their growth.
In the afternoon, I leisurely shuttled through the academy in the sound of guqin, and the word "Li Yijing" in the teaching building was particularly eye-catching. A friend said that this school was converted from an abandoned school, and the children educated in the academy came from all over the world. Influenced by China culture, they learned to play the piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, cultivated their integrity, and cultivated their active learning ability and the habit of independent thinking. In my contact, the children here are polite, smart, flexible and cheerful. Confucius said, "Those who know are not as good as those who know, and those who know are not as good as those who are happy." It's true here. Three-year-old children already know many new words, and they like reading. About 65,438+00 children have mastered all kinds of piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, and the amount of extracurricular reading reaches hundreds every year. Most of the children who graduate here and return to school are among the best in the end. The difference between the education in the academy and the education outside is that teaching is to be a person first, and then teaching, which is the embodiment of independent choice and self-study consciousness.
In the evening, my friend took me to the music room to listen to elegant music and smell tea with the children in Tongmengtang.
In the music room, children sit or kneel cross-legged. The melodious melody reverberates in this space, passes through the reflection of the surrounding boards and finally reaches the children's ears. The children closed their eyes and listened attentively, being in a rich music scene and enjoying the beauty of music ... Later, the children also expressed their feelings. Several children aged 3 to 5, with big brains and meticulous senses, really admire my musical accomplishment!
When I smelled the fragrance of tea, the children invited me to sit around the table together, and a small jar full of tea was shared by us. When smelling tea, the essence of Confucian culture permeates every move and style of tea ceremony, and is also absorbed by children in the process, showing the Millennium glory of Confucianism.
The next class is children's calligraphy class. I ran to the vegetable garden behind the school. Many vegetables and fruit trees are planted here. The vegetable garden is very big. My aunt and I said that most vegetables are turned over, sown and fertilized by children. Each class is in charge of different sections and pointed out a peanut field that doesn't grow well. Aunt said with a smile, it is the youngest three-year-old class. Although the growth is not mature enough, there are also many gains, and children are also willing to work. Most vegetable fields are made of ginger. My aunt said that the humidity here is high, so ginger will be added to the dishes more or less. The vegetables grown here are in accordance with the seasonal laws and follow the health rules.
Walking out of the vegetable garden, I heard someone playing the guqin, sometimes it sounded like nature, boundless; Sometimes it is like the ground, deep and heavy; Sometimes it's like the sea, surging, beautiful, beautiful!
After a while, the bell rang and it rained heavily. When I went back, I happened to meet two children, Yang Zhengtang and Tong Mengtang, and took this photo.
Then my friend took me to visit the children's dormitory and pushed the door in. It's arranged neatly. The quilts and pillows on each bed are neatly folded like squares, and so are the clothes in the children's cabinets. My friend said that the teacher wouldn't help the children organize their own things. I shared a photo of children tidying up their shoe cabinets outside the dormitory.
After supper, it is time for children to read freely. The children won't fall asleep until half past eight. At night, the academy was quiet and simple, and I slept comfortably.
At six o'clock in the morning, under the guidance of the teacher, the children practiced the Yijin Sutra of Shaolin Buddhism together. I've heard that Yijinjing can refresh people's minds, make people feel comfortable, and also enhance the metabolism of human cells and tissues, which is beneficial to strengthening the spirit, beauty beauty. Although some children are not in place, they all try their best. The teachers and students of the college then walked by the rice fields. The smell of rice flowers is fragrant, and the children are in high spirits, singing, reading, chatting and playing happily ...
After lunch, I'm going home. Children in Tongmengtang gave me gifts, and I picked up a small longan in the yard. Their childlike innocence is extremely beautiful! I express my gratitude, especially to them for infecting me with the excellent quality of China for five thousand years. The academy also sent me a book, which brought me blessings. I thanked him and set off.
I was deeply moved by the trip to the Academy, and my admiration for China culture came from my heart. I hope Chinese culture will continue to flourish, and Zheng Yang College will guide more outstanding children to the future!
When I left the academy, I just added some lotus flowers. I am looking forward to seeing Riemann dressed in plain clothes and welcoming me with a gentle attitude again.
