Introduction to Bodhi Daoji Lesson 42: Reading, Career and Achievement.
The tutor said: Every action will produce internal and external results, and every thought and action of ours is to publicize some strength in life. A bad attitude will help us cultivate a lot of negative emotions.

? The content of this lesson is "Thinking about Karma". Through the study of this lesson, I realize that the continuation and state of life are not determined by master, but the core of life is karma. Our present life form and life state are related to the karma created in the past. Only on the basis of understanding the basic laws and characteristics of karma, deeply believing in the results of karma and stopping doing evil and doing good can we improve our life form and life state.

Through the study of this lesson, I realize that being a man in this life must have been achieved by holding five precepts and ten good feelings in previous lives. Being able to practice in this life must have been achieved by having a good relationship with Buddha in previous lives. So I think we should cherish the existing leisure life and the rare fate of Buddhism and learn Buddhism well.

Through this week's study, I reviewed the basic characteristics of the industry, that is, the principle of industry decision, the extensive growth of the industry, the industry must do, and the industry has no losses. The principle of judging karma tells me that if I don't create bad karma, I won't get the reward of bad karma. Any pain, even trivial pain, is caused by bad karma created in the past. "I can't do what I do" tells me that if I don't create bad karma, I won't suffer bad karma. From this, I realized that I must have created bad karma in my previous life, which made me suffer these "troubles". First of all, I want to repent the bad karma I made with my heart and mind in my previous life, and remind myself that "don't do it with the small good, don't do it with the small evil." I want to accept my previous bad karma, because if I don't accept it, I will get angry and hurt myself and others, so my bad karma will get bigger and bigger, and I feel that I will suffer more bad karma in my future life. When I decided to accept these seemingly "bad news" and calm down and think, I found that the matter itself was not as annoying as I thought before. The key is what kind of heart I use to look at it, because everything has two sides, and there is no absolute good or bad. When I face and deal with these things with compassion and wisdom, bad things can also become good things. This kind of thinking has opened my mind and made my mind less entangled.

? In addition, I realized that it took me so long to get out of the troubled mood this time, but it actually originated from my inner thoughts. If mindfulness is enough and everything is acceptable, there can be no trouble. In my present situation, my mind is very unstable, so I need to live a good life, listen more and think more about the right view of Buddhism, and turn the right view of Buddhism into mindfulness. When mindfulness is full, greed and ignorance will have no chance, and all troubles will not arise.

Through the study of this course, I not only learned to accept everything without complaint, but also learned to use the wisdom of Buddhism to turn bad karma into good karma. Besides, I really realize the importance of studying hard. Only by studying hard and concentrating can we better protect our body, mouth and mind, stop doing evil and do good, and feel that our blessings are full.

Vow: May I always live in the conviction of karma, protect my body and mind, and stop evil deeds and good deeds.

Thanksgiving three treasures! Grateful mentor! Thank you brothers!

May this merit spread to all things, and I will be equal to all beings, and all beings will become Buddhas!
