The Tropic of Cancer runs through the central part of the scenic spot, running northwest-southeast, with a length of about 62km, a width of 18km and a total elevation of about1000 m.. Longtou Mountain, the main peak, is located halfway up the mountain, in Shanglin, near the junction of Wuming and Shanglin counties, and is the highest point in central and western Guangxi.
Daming Mountain is a green pearl on the Tropic of Cancer. There are abundant animal and plant resources here, including virgin forests, various rare creatures, endemic species and ancient strata.
