What's so special about Taoist health preservation? Don't you eat in the valley? ( 1)
Taoism in China, since its establishment, has experienced ups and downs in the long history. The birth and death of various factions, division and combination, are really complicated. Famous Taoist schools since ancient times include Wudoumi Road, Shi Tian North Road, Shi Tian South Road, Taiping Road, Jindan Road, Bojia Road, Longhushan Road, Zaoshan Road, Louguan Road, Shangqing Road, Maoshan Road, Luzhong Road, Wei Qing Road, Jing Ming School Road, Quanzhen Road, Taiyi Road, Zhenda Road, Zhengyi Road and Wudang Road. However, although there are similarities and differences between these various Taoist schools, from a macro perspective, there are nothing more than two categories: the orthodox school that believes in spells and curses and the all-true school that practices. Since the Yuan Dynasty destroyed the Song Dynasty and entered the Central Plains, Kublai Khan entrusted Shi Tian and Zhang Zong of the 36th generation of Longhu Mountain to take charge of jujube hill, Longhu Mountain and Maoshan Mountain. Later, in the eighth year of Dade (1304), Emperor Chengzong made Shi Tian Zhang Yucai, the 38th generation of Longhu Mountain, the leader of the three mountains. In this way, Shi Tian Taoist School in Longhushan, south of the Yangtze River and Fu You School such as jujube hill and Maoshan finally merged into one. The Quanzhen school, which originated in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, inherited the dual life accomplishment of the Taoist school in the middle of the road, attached importance to Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and advocated the method of becoming a monk, knowing each other's nature, being exclusive, not marrying wives and concubines, and not being cruel. Its factions are divided into northern and southern factions. The Northern School prevailed in Jiangbei, with Wang Zhe as its ancestor, and it was divided into seven tribes: Xianxian, Nanwu, Suishan, Longmen, Lushan, Huashan and Jingjing, and advocated repairing life first. Nanzong, which is popular in the south of the Yangtze River, was initiated by Zhang Boduan, and advocated "Mr. after sex" in cultivation. Since then, because Quanzhen was worshipped by Zhenwu Emperor, Wudang Taoism followed, and its main skill was alchemy to exorcise evil spirits, so people also regarded Wudang Taoism as Quanzhen religion. After the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, the Taoist world, after a long period of illness and death, has basically become a world that advocates spells and nourishes and prolongs life. Although the orthodox school advocates spells and the Quanzhen school advocates nourishing and prolonging life, the orthodox school, which is mainly based on spells, is not completely unhealthy, and the Quanzhen Road, which is mainly based on repairing truth and nourishing life, is not completely unaffected by spells, but only has its own emphasis. For example, Zhang Daoling, the ancestor of the Dragon and Tiger Mountain School, who initiated the Five Dou Mi Dao, attached great importance to cultivating the arts of men and women in the exhaling room. He is also the founder of jujube hill School and Maoshan School, and at the same time pays attention to the art of keeping in good health of qi, thinking and bait. To this end, the book "Taoist Health Preservation Method" is adopted. While appreciating Zhong Lu's elixir and collecting all kinds of true practices, we don't forget to send various effective cultivation methods. Looking at the health care methods in ancient China, Taoist health care toilets are profound and colorful. Tracing back to the source, back to the present, its methods mostly come from the three techniques of practicing qi, taking the bait and staying in the house created by the fairy alchemists in the pre-Qin period. Since then, it has been expanding and filling, deepening vertically, and mixing with Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, which has become a grand view. Among the numerous health-preserving methods of Taoism, we can find that although it combines Confucianism and Buddhism, including a hundred schools, it also has its own strong personality characteristics, such as cultivating truth and believing deeply, practicing inner alchemy, keeping thinking and keeping one, keeping in the room, avoiding grains and taking medicinal stones as bait. , are beautiful, are different, are valued by health care people throughout the ages. Although there are many categories and different names of Taoist health preservation, they all take the cultivation of spirit as the core. Essence is the fundamental substance of life, and its meaning can be divided into congenital and acquired: congenital essence is the substance of the origin of life. "LingShu? The book of god says: therefore, you are born with essence. The acquired essence comes from diet and nutrition and has the function of nourishing the five internal organs. The five internal organs are nourished, and the overflowing essence returns to the kidney and becomes the reproductive essence. " Su Wen? Ancient innocence theory: the kidney controls water and is hidden by the essence of the five internal organs, so the five internal organs are full and can diarrhea. The situation of qi is more complicated, including congenital vitality, acquired breath and Shui Gu qi; It not only refers to the fine substances flowing in the human body, but also refers to vitality and disease resistance. The sum of the confluence of innate qi and acquired qi is called true qi. "LingShu? The chapter "Stabbing the True Evil" says: those who are really angry are subject to heaven, and those who are full of grain gas are also. God is the concentrated expression of all spiritual activities such as personal thought, consciousness and perception, and it also includes God, soul, spirit, will, thought, consideration and wisdom. Although god's support depends on the essence of the acquired valley, the foundation begins with the innate essence, so "spiritual pivot?" "The book of God says: Therefore, the essence is born, and the second essence is passed down from generation to generation. Regarding the overall situation and relationship of the three treasures of essence, qi and spirit, Taiping Jing holds that god is from heaven, essence is from earth, and qi is in harmony with each other. Therefore, the spirit of God moves with qi and lives in it. The three help each other. An old friend who wants to live a long life should love gas, respect God and value essence. Because essence, qi and spirit occupy an important position in the human body, they will naturally focus on loving qi, respecting god and emphasizing essence when practicing various techniques. For example, I believe in the truth, the fetal interest method, the six-character formula and so on. And I work hard on the word Qi, which plays a key role in the three treasures of essence, Qi and God. Why does qi play a key role in the three treasures? " A: Spirit is full of qi, just like fish with water, qi without spirit and water without fish. It can be seen that as long as the three treasures are completely neutralized, whether they are gods or spirits, they will be scattered and disappeared. Another example is meditation, which is a kind of practice based on summoning the gods who are easy to travel abroad to return to the body. It can be seen that in order to maintain unity and abide by various laws, we must respect God. Another example is the tonic method in the room, which mainly focuses on abstinence in the room and nourishing the brain. It can be seen that its method attaches importance to essence.
