Is vegetarianism all because of religious beliefs?

I do not think this is necessarily the case.

Today we don't talk about Buddhism, just vegetarian food.

What did I experience from a person who doesn't eat meat to a vegetarian?

1

I used to like meat, too.

I am a vegetarian, which makes everyone confused. Why are you a vegetarian?

Actually, I was not like this before. I met a turning point in my life a few years ago.

I'm from the northeast. Northeasters like to eat meat. Everyone knows that, and I am no exception. There is not enough braised pork and braised pork. Everywhere I go, I ask, "How is your braised pork?"

I will definitely ask the chef to give me some advice when I meet the authentic one, and I will give him some advice when I meet the bad one.

When I am at home, I often cook by myself. Watching the dishes stewed on a small fire gradually turn dark red, I feel comfortable, just waiting for the fragrance in the room.

When I first arrived in Beijing, I had just finished my Ph.D. exam and lived in the family building of CCTV, waiting for the release of the list.

On a whim, I cooked braised pork early in the morning and then called my buddies upstairs and downstairs. Everyone fainted after eating braised pork for breakfast. Where there is breakfast, there is braised pork. Later, I tasted it in my mouth and it felt good. I ended up eating it all.

I used to like boiled chicken. When I was in Shanghai, I often ate. I thought it was delicious on earth, and if I didn't eat it for a few days, I would feel lost.

However, when I got my doctorate, things changed. Many of my changes have taken place in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.

At that time, when you go to the canteen, you will always meet students who eat very simply. I was very surprised. At first, I thought everyone's living standard was not high and they couldn't afford meat. Later, when we talked together, I was afraid that these students were vegetarians!

My last doctor, Chen Songhe, was a doctor of western medicine, high flyers, and graduated from Beijing Medical University. As a result, she studied Chinese medicine from scratch. She is a Buddhist, very devout and eats absolutely vegetarian food.

Several other students had similar experiences, some related to religion, and some for health reasons. Everyone is a vegetarian, but I am different. Finally, I thought twice and finally became a vegetarian. I don't think so.
