Introduction of Zhangzhou Health Vocational College Zhangzhou Health Vocational College is located in Zhangzhou, an ancient seaside city with beautiful scenery and outstanding people. Its predecessor was the College of Nursing of Evangelical Hospital, which was established in 1934. 1985 was renamed Zhangzhou Health School. In 2004, it was upgraded to Zhangzhou Medical Nursing Vocational College with the approval of Fujian Provincial People's Government, and was officially renamed Zhangzhou Health Vocational College in 2007.
At present, the college has 22 majors in 5 professional groups, including nursing, pharmacy, clinical medicine, medical technology and health care, with 8 182 full-time students, and 3 state-controlled majors, including clinical medicine, stomatology, acupuncture and tuina. Five provincial demonstration majors: nursing, clinical medicine, medical laboratory technology, traditional Chinese medicine and midwifery. The major of medical laboratory technology has been approved as the first batch of health service demonstration sites in vocational colleges in China, and the major of traditional Chinese medicine has been approved as a class A cultivation project in the demonstration site of integration of production and education in vocational colleges in Fujian Province. The professional group of health service for the elderly was approved for the construction of the characteristic professional group of service industry in Fujian vocational colleges.
There are 437 faculty members in the college, including 6 doctors and 4 senior titles 104. The College has hired 175 part-time teachers from industrial enterprises and 2 distinguished professor, achieving the expected goal of optimizing the teacher structure. At present, there are 4 provincial teaching teams, 3 famous teaching teachers in provincial universities, 3 provincial professional leaders, "Fujian New Century Excellent Talents Support Plan" 1 person, and 2 provincial teaching achievement awards.
The college covers an area of 8 12 mu with a building area of 20 19000 square meters. Ten centers, such as medical testing center, pharmaceutical research center, health sports and health care center, Minnan fertility culture research center, training center, teacher development center, party building activity center, student quality development center, innovation and entrepreneurship education center, and Red Cross emergency rescue center, will be built in an all-round way. The school has 6 experimental training bases 16, covering an area of 9 1982 square meters, with a total value of 72.503 million yuan of teaching and research equipment, 3 training bases supported by the central government, 4 training bases supported by the provincial finance and 3 productive training bases. There are two "factory-in-factory" projects, including affiliated stomatological hospital and medical laboratory, three affiliated hospitals and 175 off-campus training base.
