The original Jinshan Park covers an area of 77 hectares, surrounded by mountains and rivers, with lush forests and beautiful water circulation. In 2008, in order to build Jinshan into a famous tourist town and enrich people's amateur cultural life, Jinshan District Committee and District Government re-compiled the master plan of Jinshan Park, carried out large-scale renovation, reconstruction and expansion of the park, incorporated the central nursery into the park management, built the north gate of the park, set up a pavilion on the platform, laid terraced lakeshore, and planned five major areas: sports area, children's entertainment area, Miao garden scenic area, leisure and health area and ecological garden area. Miaoyuan Scenic Area covers an area of 465 mu, mainly cultivating afforestation seedlings and flowers such as Korean pine, spruce, sugar maple, larch, manchurian ash and Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica. Camphor tree, birch tree, locust tree, elm tree, etc. Since the establishment of the park, it has made great contributions to the afforestation of barren hills and the greening, beautification and aromatization of cities and towns in our region, not only to the popular science park in our region, but also to the Ministry of Forestry.
The ecological park is built along the Dafeng River Dam, mainly planting precious tree species such as Korean pine, larch and Mongolian pine. Quercus mongolica, Betula platyphylla, Juglans mandshurica, oak trees and colored-leaf trees unique to Xiaoxing 'an Mountains are arranged in rows or squares, green in spring and summer, and colored in autumn, which become the second line of defense against wind and embankment.
