First, qi and blood

Qi and blood are the material basis and energy source for the activities of organs such as viscera and meridians.

Material basis: blood.

Meridian: Highway.

Second, the concept of meridians

1, meridian, is the backbone of the system; Collaterals are small networks, criss-crossing and ubiquitous.

2. Meridians connect the whole body with the outside world, run qi and blood, nourish the whole body, and connect the internal organs and limbs of the human body into a coordinated whole.

3. Meridians: 12 Meridians (such as the Taiyin Lung Meridian of the Hand and the Bladder Meridian of the Foot Taiyang) and Eight Meridians (such as Renmai and Dumai).

Collateral: 15 collateral, floating collateral and sun collateral. (Figure 2 to 16)

Third, the trick to find acupoints

1, when you press your finger, you will feel pain (tenderness).

2, refers to the touch, there are lumps (induration)

3, a little irritating, the skin will itch (sensitive)

4, moles, spots (pigmentation)

5. Temperature difference (temperature change) with the surrounding skin, etc. (Figure 17, 18)

Fourthly, acupoint stimulation.

Shiatsu: the part where the thumb, forefinger or middle finger are easy to exert force.

Massage: there are many massage methods such as beating, rubbing, rubbing and pressing.

Scraping board: Scraping board can be used to stimulate meridians, replenish meridians and diarrhea meridians.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) matters needing attention

1. Stimulate acupoints when exhaling.

2. Don't smoke before and after meridian massage.

Sixth, people who are not suitable for massage.

People suffering from acute infectious diseases, such as influenza and dysentery.

Patients with acute inflammation, such as pneumonia, appendicitis and cellulitis.

Some chronic inflammations, such as tuberculosis of limbs and joints and osteomyelitis.

People with severe heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease and lung disease.

People who are extremely thin due to malignant tumor, anemia, long illness, etc.

Patients with thrombocytopenic purpura or allergic purpura

Area skin patients or patients with ulcerative dermatitis.

Seven, massage techniques

Pressing: Pressing the skin or acupoints rhythmically with fingers or palms.

Rub: Gently rub with fingers or palms on the skin or acupoints.

Push: Push the skin and muscles forward, upward or outward with fingers or palms.

Take: Hold the skin, muscle or intervertebral disc with one hand or both hands, lift it and put it down.

Rub: Rotate the skin or acupoints with your fingers or palms.

Pinch: Press the acupoints with your fingers.

Point: Press the acupoint with one finger.

Slap: To strike a limb with the palm or fist.

Eight, Chinese medicine theory of Yin and Yang and Five Elements

Yin-Yang and Five Elements are a way of thinking for ancient people in China to understand the universe.

The ancients believed that Yin and Yang were "the way of heaven and earth, the discipline of all things, the mother of change and the source of life and death"

Yang: active, invisible, extroverted, upward, warm, bright and excited (sun, sun, fire, male)

Yin: static, tangible, inward, downward, cold, dark and declining (moon, earth, night, water, female) (Figure 19, 27).

Nine, five elements of fruits and vegetables

Wood-shaped (spring fruits and vegetables)-Chinese kale, asparagus, a vegetable, sweet potato leaves, radishes, spinach, broccoli, Qingjiang vegetables, loofah and rape.

Fire shape (summer fruits and vegetables)-apples, carrots, California plums, cherries, grapes, big tomatoes, small tomatoes, red fruits and grapefruit.

Golden shape (autumn fruits and vegetables)-lotus root, bamboo shoots, pumpkins, peaches, bitter gourd, fresh mushrooms, onions, onions, Wendan and Flammulina velutipes.

Water shape (winter fruits and vegetables)-potato, burdock, yam, sweet potato leaves, cucumber, amaranth, black sesame, lemon, laver, cucumber and green bitter gourd.

Soil-like (four seasons fruits and vegetables)-papaya, passion fruit, pineapple, onion, avocado, guava, cantaloupe, banana, mango, durian and tender ginger.
