The most inhospitable place in China is the Takang Desert in Mu Basin. There is a great temperature difference between day and night in the desert. The temperature at night can drop to a few degrees below zero, while the temperature during the day can reach twenty or thirty degrees. There are no plants, no water, and there is dead silence everywhere. There is another place that is not suitable for living, and that is those places on Mount Everest. The weather in those places is worse every year.
