This is the first time I have participated in personal social practice since I became a college student, and I can't help but want to do something special. I heard that most students choose big hospitals to practice in the society. After thinking about it, I decided to practice in Friendship Community Health Service Center, feel the current situation of primary health care, feel the medical atmosphere, use what I have learned to understand and judge, really practice in the medical field, and find my interest in learning medical knowledge. In this winter vacation, I had a five-day internship here and got a good understanding of community health services.
The first day is mainly to understand the rules and regulations of community hospitals. In the afternoon, the center held a lecture on community health education, mainly on health preservation in spring. The audience under the stage is mainly elderly people. The lecture describes the climate characteristics of spring, and then points out how to keep healthy properly and what kind of fruits and vegetables should be eaten. Not only did these grandparents learn a lot, but I also learned that parents should not miss the good opportunity of keeping in good health in spring.
I also went to work at 8 o'clock on time the next day. The content of today's exercise is free physical examination in the community. This is the community health department, and people in the community can check blood pressure, blood sugar and other physical examination items for free. Many people come to attend every day, and many people come to measure blood pressure and blood sugar. After coming here for a physical examination, the old man will also ask if his physical condition is good recently. At the same time, this department is also responsible for establishing residents' health records and recording the health status of residents in the jurisdiction who come to see a doctor, so as to follow up, prevent and control patients with chronic diseases.
Later, Dr. Li asked me to take the patient's blood pressure. I was inexperienced for the first time and completed the task under the guidance of the doctor. Learned how to measure blood pressure. First of all, the zero point of sphygmomanometer and brachial artery should be on the same level as the heart. The lower end of the cuff is 2-3 cm away from the anterior cubital fossa, and the tightness should be stuffed with one finger. Gently press the forearm artery at one end of the stethoscope clock face and slowly inflate the topic. After the arterial pulse disappeared. Pressurize 20-30 cm Hg, and then stop inflating. Open the air valve slightly, so that the mercury column drops slowly. The first pulse you hear is systolic blood pressure, which is upward pressure. The last pulse sound I heard was diastolic pressure, that is, downward pressure. The process is very simple, just remember high pressure and low pressure, and in the end, you will become more and more skilled.
In the next few days, I visited every corner of the community hospital and saw many novel displays. For example, there is a big room used as a reading room, and there are many books about popularizing medical knowledge, which interested people can read at any time. There are also many photos hanging on the wall of the longest corridor in the hospital, recording the growth footprint of this community from the beginning to the present, and recording many medical workers. Similarly, the spacious lounge is decorated with many photos, which is quite warm and harmonious.
From the practice of these days, I have more deeply felt the irreplaceable important role of community doctors in patients' basic medical care. Doctors can chat with patients easily, which reminds me of the warm experience of seeing a doctor in the infirmary of the family area when I was a child. It can be seen that this kind of more considerate medical behavior is very necessary for many patients with weak medical concept. I was deeply moved by the sincere smile of every medical staff and the cordial greetings to patients and their families. Although the social atmosphere is not good now, and even many people advocate money first, the original intention of doctors to save lives has always been there. To be a good doctor, you must first have medical ethics, which I will definitely keep in mind.
In a word, my first social practice benefited me a lot and I learned a lot of knowledge that books can't learn. I will always study hard and become a compulsory course for a doctor with a sincere attitude: first of all, I should be good at communication, be careful and patient with patients, be sincere with people, and be diligent and inquisitive with my tutor; The most important thing is to have a sincere heart and live up to your conscience. The profession of doctor is sacred, and I will dedicate my regretless youth to it. This article is a lesson.
Chapter II: Model essay report on medical students' social practice In the summer of 20xx, I came to xxx township health center with the school's summer social practice letter of introduction and started my summer internship for more than a week. As a student who has only studied medicine for half a year, I don't have any professional knowledge about medicine at all, so I will start with the most basic nursing work in the hospital. When I came to the hospital, I felt fresh and afraid of everything, even though I was a patient here.
After knowing my situation, the dean thought that I should have a comprehensive understanding of all departments in the hospital, so I had internships in surgery, pharmacy, nursing and other different times. I looked in the mirror, wearing a clean white coat, thinking about the pride of wearing a white coat for the first time, and my firmness and self-confidence were still fresh! But then again, I still feel an unbearable burden.
The nurse who took me was an intern who graduated from the health school, but all his operations seemed to be at ease, and I couldn't help feeling at the side. The seemingly simple nursing work made me start to be in a hurry. The original confidence is gone. I began to learn from the nurses with an open mind, followed by the young nurses patiently explaining the nursing knowledge to me. Slowly, I shuttled through various wards to understand their nursing terms and some daily work. Finally, under the training of time, I gradually began to "fast".
After getting familiar with the environment, I assisted the nurse in receiving patients, made four tests (blood pressure, body temperature, pulse and weight), learned the measurement methods of blood pressure and body temperature from her, contacted the liquid preparation link, and strictly observed the "three checks and seven pairs" (three checks: preoperative check, intraoperative check and postoperative check; Seven pairs: according to the principles of bed number, name, drug name, concentration, dosage, method and time, prepare liquid medicine for patients. What impresses me most is which doctor has been emphasizing "aseptic operation, aseptic concept and standardized operation" to me. During the surgical practice, every teacher emphasized the concept of sterility. So I deeply understand the concept of sterility and follow it unconsciously in the operation. And standardized operation is really a very conservative and safe practice! As for new methods and innovative thinking, we must be familiar with the situation. Maybe the future medical reform can improve those complicated operations, hehe!
And surgery to close the wound. See a doctor to clean the wound slowly, then remove the congestion a little bit, and finally sew it up. During this period, if any operation fails to meet the requirements of aseptic operation, the consequences will be unimaginable. This reminds me that my carelessness is so serious. Therefore, I am very cautious about the operation of changing needles and pulling needles. It suddenly dawned on me that "in case" is not allowed in my career.
What impressed me most about the eight-day internship is that clinical practice is a solid foundation of theoretical basic knowledge. My clinical on-site experience and on-site operation have made me reproduce all kinds of questions raised when I learned those boring and stubborn knowledge in school. For example, facing the busy figure of the teacher like a duck to water every day, I only have a sigh in my heart, complaining that the theory can't be applied to practice, complaining that I didn't study hard before the internship, and complaining that the passive acceptance of knowledge hurt the students. Sadly, we can only get short-term memory, and we can't be the materials to fight diseases at this time. As long as you keep turning over the books, there will really be a kind of regret and embarrassment that "books are used only when they are used"
For me, the Spring Festival in 20xx is an extraordinary memory. I benefited a lot from participating in social surveys.
After this investigation and practice, my understanding and values have made a breakthrough leap.
The achievements and school evaluation of contemporary college students are not directly proportional to their achievements in society. If you want to gain a foothold in society, you need not only a diploma, but also your endurance, communication skills, language skills and rich knowledge.
These seemingly distant things can actually be found in the bits and pieces of life. What we need to do is to face the reality, be down-to-earth, be broad-minded, work hard and be diligent, and countless "points" will create your future.
As future medical workers, we also need a heart to serve, think and contribute to others. It doesn't matter where you work, what matters is your mentality. Don't think it is shameful to work at the grassroots level. Everyone's ancestors have been there for three generations. Who is not from the grassroots?
Our employment situation is not grim, but everyone is not willing to "condescend", which makes us panic now. During the winter vacation, I visited all levels of health authorities and hospitals in my county and found that almost no undergraduate medical students were willing to work here, which surprised me. We are angels in white. Wherever we are needed, we will go. It was the grassroots who chose us instead of us.
So I think our generation of college students, even every generation in the future, should adjust their mentality, improve their ideological quality and be a valuable person who is really beneficial to others and society.
The fourth part: demonstration report of medical students' social practice.
At first, we entered xx Hospital for a 9-month clinical nursing practice. Clinical practice is the consolidation and strengthening of theoretical learning stage, the training and exercise of nursing skill operation, and the exercise stage before our employment. Here, I want to thank xx Hospital for providing me with such a good internship environment and various excellent internship conditions, and also thank all the teachers for their concern and hard guidance, so that I have such a good opportunity to exercise myself before I set foot on my job.
Second, the internship process
During the internship in the hospital, according to the careful arrangement of the nursing department, we took turns to practice in the operating room, surgery and other departments.
The first stop of my internship is the operating room. Our internship time is only two weeks, but as it is the first department of internship, I am full of curiosity and expectation. When I first walked into the operating room, my mind was blank and everything seemed so fresh. When we first went, the head nurse arranged a teacher for us. The teacher first led us to familiarize ourselves with the environment here, and then explained the working nature of the operating room to us. In the first few days, I still felt strange and puzzled. As a student, I feel either standing or sitting. Fortunately, my tutor is very kind to me, explaining everything to us and letting us do some things. Slowly, we became familiar with the procedures here. During these two weeks, we have carefully studied the knowledge about the operating room, understood the working nature of the operating room, got familiar with the items and special instruments that need to be prepared for each operation, and mastered its basic operation methods. Can skillfully and accurately operate aseptic operation techniques, such as wearing sterile gloves, taking off surgical gown, and correct hand washing methods. However, due to the short time, I don't know much about the names and uses of some surgical instruments, which is really a pity. Because this is the first internship, the hospital is very strict with us and won't let us do clinical surgery.
The second department is neurosurgery. Although I have worked as an intern in a department, I am still a stranger because of my completely different nature. The strangeness of the ward.
This is our first internship in the ward. Internship in the ward is completely different from internship in the operating room. The patients and their families are the most exposed here, so the requirements for us are different. Practice in the ward should be careful everywhere, and the requirements for answering patients' questions are even more strict. It can be said that we are walking on thin ice.
Internship in the ward, because I am a student, I can only walk around the ward at first and rest in front of the head nurse and the tired teachers in the department. I feel really tired and tired, and my whole body aches. I went back to my apartment after work, and I just slept. Physical and mental exhaustion.
When I first entered the ward, I always felt at a loss At that time, I was in a relatively unfamiliar state with nursing work, and I had no idea what I could do in such a new environment. Fortunately, we have a teacher to introduce the ward structure, the work of each class and the rich experience of the teacher, which makes us adapt to the nursing work of various departments in the hospital quickly. Being able to adapt to the hospital environment as soon as possible has laid a good foundation for future practice and work in the hospital, which should be regarded as a harvest in the internship stage: learning to adapt is to integrate into the new environment and grow and survive in it.
With the pace of time, the environment becomes familiar, and learning gradually enters the formal track. In the ward internship stage of various departments, the most familiar ones are various diseases and their commonly used therapeutic drugs, such as the usage and dosage of drugs. Master the basic operation of all kinds of nursing.
The ultimate goal of practice is to cultivate good operating skills and improve various nursing abilities. Therefore, under the teaching principle of "let go, don't look around and don't worry about looking around", actively strive for every exercise opportunity, such as catheterization, gastric tube insertion, bed bath, oral care, intravenous infusion, muscle injection and other basic nursing operations.
Chapter V: Report on Social Practice of Medical Students. After studying the community nursing course for a period of time, we gradually entered the community to practice community nursing. The content of the first internship was health file management, which was held in Wangyuehu community. Mr. Zhong from Wangyuehu Community gave us a detailed overview of Wangyuehu Community Health Service Center, and introduced us to the establishment and management of health files and related materials. After the teacher's careful and patient explanation and introduction, I learned the basic content of community health service, the work content of community medical staff, the basic structure of community health service center and the significance of community health service.
Community health service is basic medical care, serving the relatively fixed population and part of the floating population in the community. Daily work is mostly dealing with some common and frequently-occurring diseases, as well as disease prevention, health care, rehabilitation guidance, health education, family planning and so on. Community hospitals pay more attention to disease prevention. Therefore, community doctors often go deep into the masses to carry out health popularization activities, so that the masses can understand the significance of preventive medicine and make them have a certain understanding of the most common diseases in the community, such as diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, prevention is the top priority of community health service.
Generally speaking, Wangyuehu Community Health Service Center is a relatively perfect community health service center, which has done a good job in prevention and health care, and pays more attention to the prevention and treatment of common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases. In front of the gate of the service center, there are also specialized personnel and equipment to carry out basic health checks for community residents, and there are many health knowledge leaflets in the community health service center for residents to read and learn. In addition, the service center will regularly hold health education lectures for different groups of people in the community, such as lectures on health knowledge such as hypertension and diabetes for the elderly, receive feedback from residents in time, and constantly improve and progress.
Another content of this internship is health file management. Mr. Zhong gave us a brief introduction to the basic content and establishment of health records and the management system of health records, and told us how to know the health status of community residents in time through the health records of community residents. Every community needs to visit residents for life according to their health records, and make home visits to get more health information about community residents, understand their health status and give them some real-time health guidance. In addition, the teacher also circulated paper health records to us, which gave us a deeper understanding.
This internship has given me a certain understanding of the work content, working methods and operation mode of the community health service center, a new understanding of the prevention and treatment of diseases, and a more emotional understanding of health records. The gap between community health service centers makes me see another medical model that is completely different from hospitals, which gives me a new understanding of community medical institutions and a deeper understanding of community nursing.
