Wugong Temple has always been famous for its beautiful scenery. It takes "the first building in Hainan" as the main body. This is a red building carefully built by various kinds of wood. The building is more than ten meters high, divided into two floors, with sharp red rafters at the top of the four corners, which is particularly solemn against the colorful green leaves and branches around it. On the front of the second floor, the banner of "Hainan's first floor" is impressive; There are two famous couplets on the pillars of the downstairs hall:
"Don't stand, song hate heavy friendship. A few talents in heaven and earth are placed overseas, and they are sacred before they go, and they learn after they teach. Gan Kun has righteousness in this building. "
"I only know that there is a country, but I don't know that there is a body. I will do everything possible to torture it, and I will strengthen my will. I hope that the group will get together and not be negative. "
After reading it, I caressed Gusi, and the five heroes came to life.
On the right side of the martial arts temple are the learning hall and the martial arts fine house. Xueputang is the former site where Guo Wanxiang, a famous Zhejiang scholar, gave lectures. The martial arts house was the place where Hainan students studied poetry in the late Qing Dynasty. The two wing rooms are all plain-tile wooden buildings, typical of Ming and Qing styles. The garden is lush with flowers and trees, surrounded by four seasons, beautiful scenery and quiet environment. When Guo Wanxiang came to Hainan, he brought more than 800 books, set up the Wugong Temple Building as the library of Wugong Temple for the Wugong Jingshe, and collected Guo Wanxiang's suicide note. Later, after looting, there were few books left. Later, the Xuepu Hall and the Martial Arts House were renovated by the government, and some cultural relics in Hainan were displayed, including the Forbidden Bell in the Ming Dynasty, the ancient bronze drum of the Li nationality and the Xuande Furnace. On the east side of Wugong Temple is Su Gong Temple, which was built to commemorate Su Shi, a great writer in the Northern Song Dynasty. There are the ruins of Shuangquan and Dong Zhuoting left by Su Shi. This is a garden-like courtyard with ancestral halls, green trees, flowers, winding streams and tinkling springs. On the left side of Sugong Temple is Qiongyuan, covering an area of nearly 10 mu. There are floating Dongpo relics such as Su Quan, Su Quan Pavilion and Xixinxuan in the park. A stone tablet is embedded in a powder wall next to the floating Su Quan. The words "Floating Su Quan" are engraved on the stone tablet. The cool spring water in front of the monument fills the upper and lower wells. It is said that Su Dongpo found it here. The spring water is pure, clear, bright and sweet. After filling the spring water, it will not scale for more than ten years. Using it to make tea is extremely mellow and is known as "the first spring in Hainan". Now the spring water in the well is still crystal clear, but there is no spring water gushing.
On the floating Su Quan, there are Su Quan Pavilion and Xixinxuan, which are said to be built by Weng Ruyu in Ming Dynasty and Ye Rulan in Qing Dynasty respectively because of a poem by Su Dongpo.
