When it comes to taboos, Li Shimin is the best. Li Shimin is a nuclear bomb, no one can touch it, because this name is the pride of Li Tang, so Li Can can't give in to this word. If you really want to change your son's surname, the people will not allow it, so Li will not change it. Three words make a person generous, and the remaining two are up to you. Although Li Shimin said it was not taboo, it was somebody else's modesty. If the modesty of the leader is taken seriously, it is childish and doesn't know how to die. Li Shimin himself said that his baby's name can be used separately, but it can't be written together. That is to say, "scholar" and "citizen" can be used separately, but scholars can't. The first person to be defeated was his opponent Wang. The king was defeated in the world and beheaded by Xiao. Now that I am the emperor, your name can't be used, because there is the word "world". Wang changed it to Wang Kouchong. Many people are familiar with the word "mouth", right? It means space, especially friends who like to watch love action movies. I will give you dozens of "mouths" in the wonderful part, and connect them with yourself. The word replaced by this word is random, and people who don't know it think it is blank, so in the book of the Tang Dynasty, Wang Kouchong became Chong Wang. Li Shimin's war general Li Shiqi was a clever man, so he quickly changed his name to Li Ji. Spiritual people don't need others to say that they can do it.
The royal family is no exception. In the past, the eldest son of a monarch was called a prince. After Li Shimin took the lead, you can't say that. You should change it. No matter how big or small, they are all called childe, and the prince is called big childe. In the Tang dynasty, if you have to use the word "yes", you can write it differently. For example, if you add one or less strokes, the stone can be written as ""and ""This is a deliberate typo, but everyone knows what it means. Why did you write it wrong? Because the emperor is unhappy, who dares to write correctly?
Avalokitesvara is the most innocent. She is a god, so she should be much taller than Emperor your. However, Li Shimin is not afraid. He wanted to establish his highest prestige, and it was not challenging to operate on mortals, so Guanyin Bodhisattva became a victim. Since Li Shimin ascended the throne, Guanyin Bodhisattva was changed to Guanyin Bodhisattva, and the word "Guanyin" was replaced by a space, so it was simply written as Guanyin Bodhisattva. Although he has established his prestige, he cannot become famous with immortal people. Li Shimin also feel wrong. At the end of the day, he was still a little scared, and he ordered that he could not avoid it. Others don't say, the word Guanyin bodhisattva can be taboo. This is why some Tang Dynasty histories are written about Guanyin Bodhisattva, while Hui legislators write about Guanyin Bodhisattva, not Guanyin Bodhisattva. After all, the Buddhist scriptures are solemn and have changed to a great god.
Have you found a very strange phenomenon? Other dynasties have "sejong", but not the Tang and Song Dynasties. Han Sejong is Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, Jin Sejong is Sima Shi (chasing the seal), Sui Sejong is Yang Zhao, Ming Sejong is Zhu Houzong, and Qing Sejong is Yongzheng. If the Song Dynasty did not follow suit, it stands to reason that he had nothing to do with Li Tang or Li Shimin. Sejong Song should be Emperor Xiaozong. If the Tang Dynasty didn't shy away, who do you think deserves the glorious title of Sejong? It was Emperor Li Yu who killed Yang Guifei, put down the Anshi Rebellion and recovered the marshal Chang 'an of Luoyang.
The key point of taboo is this folk character. The three provinces and six departments were formed in the Han Dynasty and determined in the Sui Dynasty. The six departments are: the official department, the people's department, the ritual department, the military department, the punishment department, and the Ministry of Industry. This is a relatively formal document regulation, but if it is taboo, it must be changed. Because the people's department has the word "people", which violates Li Shimin's taboo, the people's department has been changed to the family department. In the later Tang dynasty, when the word "person" was encountered, it was necessary to replace it with people, scholars, ministers and ding, or people were directly written as adults. For example, in Liu Zongyuan's On Snake Catchers, there is a sentence "What does it mean to watch people's wind?" People have a stroke? No, it's for adults to avoid people, which means folk custom. Not only can there be no "world" and "people" in Tang poetry, but even ancient books will change in the Tang Dynasty. The poem Xiaoya at the Turn of October says "the evil of the people makes bandits descend from the sky", and the Tang Dynasty will change it to "the evil of servants makes bandits descend from the sky". Such masterpieces are not spared, which shows that the Tang Dynasty really went against the sky.
Besides Li Shimin's own name, his great-grandfather's name should be avoided. We watch the Water Margin, and the tiger is called a big worm. Fortunately, this is the Song Dynasty. If it was the Tang Dynasty, it would become Song Wu's exterminators, Jong Li, Gong Wang and Lei Heng. Isn't it fun? How can you have dignity when you turn the power of a tiger into the power of an ant? This bug was changed in the Tang Dynasty, when Li Hu was taboo. Li Hu is Li Shimin's great-grandfather, posthumous title Jingdi, and his temple name is Mao. When people became emperors, they had to keep their mouths shut. Therefore, it is impossible for tigers to appear in the Tang Dynasty, and it is impossible for mortals to bring tigers.
The toilet also thanks to Li Shimin. Ancient people made a toilet to facilitate defecation at night. Originally, the shape was like an official hat, which was decided by Liu Bangding. Officials quarreled about the shape of the toilet, and Liu Bang was very angry. He ran down the golden hall and took off the priest's hat to pee. Ministers believe that the emperor has decided the shape of the toilet. Li Guang, a flying general, shot at the tiger, but it scratched him. Li Guang hated tigers, so he made the urinal look like a tiger and peed in the tiger's mouth. Because it looks like a tiger, this urinal is called nothing. One day, Li Shimin got up in the middle of the night to pee, and had nothing to do, so he took it in his hand and studied it. Suddenly, he realized something and flew into a rage. The next day, he flew into a rage in court, saying that the urinal insulted his great-grandfather. It rides on his great-grandfather's head and poops. In the future, he is not allowed to make the urinal into a tiger shape, and he can no longer be called nothing. In order to be comfortable and convenient, some people changed the tiger into a horse shape and sat on it to pee, which was convenient for women to use. Later, they opened a big hole and could sit and shit. Because they look like horses, they are called girls. Later, the girl gradually became the shape of a bucket, which contained more things and was convenient to pour things, so it was called a toilet. If it wasn't taboo in Li Shimin, this toilet would be called Tiger Barrel.
The official names and place names of the Tang Dynasty should also be changed. For example, the position of a military commander is called General Huya, which can no longer be called, but must be changed to General Infinite. Hulao Pass disappeared in the Tang Dynasty. Because of taboo, it was changed to Wu Jian. Even the late emperor Shi Hu was changed to Shi Jilong, and the famous soldiers were also changed. Li Shimin made an imperial edict that when revising history books, the word tiger must be avoided, and it must never appear, even if it is Lohan Khufu. You can use the word beast instead, and the scourge has changed. It was originally a flood tiger. In Wei Shu, "it is difficult to ride a tiger" was changed to "it is difficult to ride a beast", and the place name was also changed. The Tiger Forest in Hangzhou was changed into Wulin. There are tigers in Li Bai's poems, which were changed after the Song Dynasty. He was afraid to write like this. For example, "Dare not ride a tiger, climb a dragon and suddenly fall from the sky" was changed to "Dare not ride a beast". Has the meaning changed? Riding animals, horses are animals, and pigs are animals. They can all ride horses.
Li Shimin is a very wise emperor. He started the Tang Dynasty, which is another famous great dynasty after the Han Dynasty. Taboo is the formation of a habit, not initiated by Li Shimin. He is just an inheritor, but he is a bit too strict. You can make people taboo, change the name of the toilet, even make the tiger taboo, but let Guanyin Bodhisattva change your name, which is a bit outrageous.
