Onion, ginger, salt, monosodium glutamate, pepper, star anise and cooking wine.

0 1 beef is washed with clear water, drained and cut into pieces for later use.

Cut the onion and ginger, and prepare the star anise and pepper for later use.

Boil the cut beef in a cold water pot for one minute, then take it out, rinse it with water (blood and foam) and drain it.

Then add water, beef, star anise, pepper, onion, ginger and cooking wine to the pot, bring to a boil with high fire, and turn to low heat for slow stew.

Peel pumpkin, remove melon seeds, wash with clear water, control moisture, and cut into pieces.

Peel potatoes, wash them with clear water and cut into pieces. Pour water several times, and control the water to dry for later use.

After the beef is stewed (about an hour's time), add potatoes and salt, bring to a boil over high heat, and turn to low heat for slow stew.

Stew potatoes for about 10 minutes, add pumpkin and bring to a boil, then simmer.

Stew for about 30 minutes. After the potatoes and pumpkins are stewed, add monosodium glutamate and turn off the heat.
